The construction of new engineering and the training of excellent engineers require young college teachers' excellent engineering.expertise as a guarantee,which puts forward higher ability requirements for them.However,in the process of the practice of higher engineering education,there exist various realistic problems such as backwardness in professional education,narrow educational goals,closed engineering practice and insufficient cooperation power.about the cognition and action of colleges,governments,enterprises and young teachers themselves,which result in the improvement of young college teachers' engineering expertise can not lead and adapt to the needs of the construction of new engineering and the training of excellent engineers.Therefore,to promote the construction of new engineering,train excellent engineers and build a powerful country in higher education,we must continuously improve the young college teachers' engineering expertise.This research takes the Field Theory as the theory basis and literature research method,case analysis method and quantitative analysis method are comprehensively applied to this study,to systematically analyze the motivator and feature of the engineering expertise cultivating field,explore the composing elements of engineering expertise to construct a scientific assessing standard for it.Besides,a questionnaire survey to College W is conducted in this study to objectively assess the real condition of young college teachers' engineering expertise,conclude the influencing factors of the promotion of young college teachers' engineering expertise and then put forward corresponding strategies.This research has such conclusions: from the perspective of field theory,the practice environment of cooperation between schools and enterprises is the field for young college teachers' expertise development;the promotion of their engineering expertise is disciplined by both the colleges and enterprises.The habitus is the culture of young teachers' growth as well as the method to cultivate engineering talents.A new relation system is constructed by the organization policy from young college teachers' engineering practice in the cultivating field and then a new engineering expertise habitus formed.The development of young college teachers' engineering expertise closely relates to the teacher individual,students' quality,colleges' objectives and the society's requirements,forming the engineering relation network.Hence,only when the elements and assessing standards embed to the four dimensions,can they be accredited.Based on the empirical research on the questionnaire of College W,the condition of young college teachers' engineering expertise cultivation is analyzed comprehensively.This thesis holds that the deep reasons why the promotion of young college teachers' engineering expertise is hindered are the close environment of the field,the solidification of the habitus thought and the deficiency of the organization policy.Based on the analysis on the condition of young college teachers' engineering expertise,it comes to the following conclusion.To improve the engineering expertise of young college teachers,firstly we must change the close cultivating field into an open one,and the further multiply levels and forms of the cultivation.Then,we should change the teacher individual habitus into a social one to update young teachers' traditional and narrow cognition of engineering capability.Apart from this,we should change the theoretical organization policy into a practical one,to guarantee the constant promotion and improvement of young college teachers' engineering expertise in the process of employment,training,inspiration and assessment.
