University teachers are the most important resources of higher education, and thesoul of teaching quality for higher education. In China, during the popularizationprocess of higher education, it has made great development. A large number oftechnological schools upgraded to universities and colleges through mergers,restructuring and other channels.With the expansion of higher education, young teachers keep growing anddeveloping, and become new major emerging forces in the universities.Young teachers should adapt to the positions in teaching and science research,and become qualified, key, and expert-typed teachers; therefore, how to cultivateyoung teachers and improve their quality and ability becomes an important and urgenttask for practical universities.Young teachers are featured by high academic levels, active thinking, strongdesire for knowledge and self development. So based on human-basis managementtheory and career planning theory, this paper focuses on key period of career planningfor young teachers, considering growth features and rules of the young teachers.Hence, corresponding cultivating strategies can be perfected for young teachers inpractical universitiesThe research is the case study of F college, combined with theoretical andempirical research. Case analysis, questionnaire survey and other research methodsare adopted in this thesis. They help to explore cultivation of young teachers at manylevels and aspects in newly established college. The thesis consists of six parts:Chapter one introduces the aim, significance, thought and methods of the thesisand current situation of the relevant research both at home and abroad. Besides, thischapter defines concepts appeared in the thesis.Chapter two presents theoretical foundation for young teachers’ cultivation inpractical universities. It also introduces human-basis management theory, career planning theory and application in young teachers’ cultivation.Chapter three shows the features and young teachers’ growth rules inuniversities.Chapter four lists factors influenced young teachers’ cultivation and analyzesthese results from subjective and objective factors respectively.Chapter five presents problems appeared in young teachers’ cultivation throughanalyzing and summarizing the current situation of young teachers’ cultivation in FCollege found in questionnaires.Chapter six proposes optimization strategies for promoting young teachers innewly practical universities based on human-basis management and career planning.The strategies also borrowed ideas from experience on young teacher training both athome and abroad..
