In the process of training talents in colleges and universities,the library has a very important function of educating people.With the development of the times and the changes in requirements,libraries also urgently need to be transformed and upgraded,especially in schools with the main task of training high-tech and highly skilled personnel,so that libraries can become the extension of teaching places and the main battlefield for cultural education,and further promote campus culture.Is of great importance.This paper focuses on the students' perception of the physical entity of the library and the material culture it carries under the established library environment.At the same time,this study will not only pay attention to the classification and normative design concept of the library material culture.It will also be analyzed from an empirical perspective.As a material culture perception and participant,the author analyzes his inner and behavioral perception based on cultural function theory and customer perception theory.On this basis,qualitative research can meet the theoretical support and theoretical basis needed to explore this problem in research ideas,and analyze the perception and formation of college students in the existing library material culture environment through interviews and other methods.research material.This study hopes to understand the behaviors and ideas of the research objects,and further understand them under the overall perspective of the concept of "material culture",and finally form an understanding and summary of the library material culture and its educational functions.Through interviews,this study conducted in-depth and detailed exchanges among undergraduates,masters,and doctoral students in various majors in multiple grades,and comprehensively collected information on the current situation of library material and cultural construction in participating in cultural education in universities and colleges.Using the theory of customer value to analyze and collate the scientific system,combining with the relationship between material culture and cultural education,it is found that the material culture construction of the library needs to be improved,which limits the role of cultural education.The lack of comprehensive collection resources has frustrated students 'spirit of learning;The environment of learning needs to be improved and the imperfect management system weakens the value orientation of students.In view of these problems,some improvement measures are put forward: adhere to the purpose of cultural education;(a)Strengthen the library infrastructure,with greater emphasis on investment in cultural education rather than cultural knowledge,where funding is limited;Efforts to create a heavy environment atmosphere;Optimize the rational allocation of collection resources;To improve the comprehensive quality of the librarians;Recommendations such as strengthening management system innovation.However,as long as the material and cultural construction of university libraries has been improved and strengthened,it is reasonable to believe that students who have accepted the influence of the cultivation of socialist core values and cultures can better assume the historical responsibility of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
