Teachers frequently rely on their implicit moral education beliefs to function in the moment-to-moment existence of moral education practice,and it is of great significance to understand the state of their beliefs in order to improve the effect of moral education teaching.In this study,all the teacher in a secondary school(L)are taken as the research object,and the combination of qualitative and quantitative methods is used to explore the actual situation of teachers' moral beliefs,including moral education content,method,subject and other five aspects of beliefs.Qualitative research data mainly come from interviews with six teachers;Quantitative research data mainly come from the questionnaire of all the teachers in this school.Firstly,the researcher interviewed six teachers,and then compiled questionnaires based on the interview corpus to investigate the moral beliefs of all teachers in L Secondary School.The research finds that:(1)As for the beliefs about moral education goal,most teachers think that the goal of social value realization is more important;(2)As for the beliefs about moral education content,teachers emphasize the education of civilized habits and behavioral norms,especially those related to students' performance;(3)As for the beliefs about moral education method,teachers are in a dilemma.They believe that emotional nurturing is effective,but in moral educational practice,they mostly use preaching;(4)As for the beliefs about moral education subject,teachers generally emphasize that teachers should be the main body in the implementation of moral education and impart established and definite moral concepts;(5)As for the beliefs about moral education effectiveness,most teachers think that the effect of family moral education is greater than that of school moral education.
