A Study On Life Beliefs Of Secondary School Teacher's Professional Beliefs

Secondary School Teacher's Professional Beliefs(STPB) has played an important roles in teaching quality and also has a big influence on the ways of student's thinking,furthermore, it is the guidance of teacher's behavior and teacher's specialized development.STPB is the spiritual pillar of teacher life. Related studies show that STPB is a profound research and has a complicated concept system. For understanding deeply the concept, the study should focus on the basis of the concept. That is the Life Beliefs.This study mainly adopts documentary analysis and interview and questionnaire survey. First, the paper defined the meaning of Beliefs and STPB and Life Beliefs based on combing the domestic and foreign research materials. Then through analyzing the statistics of survey, it concludes that the secondary school teachers have weekly consciousness of Life Beliefs, it mainly shows three aspects:(1) they have certain cognitive about the Life Beliefs but they haven't been trained comprehensively.(2)they have awareness of the importance of the Life Beliefs, but because of the pressure of teaching, the theory can't be carried out in practice.(3) The utilitarian trends of teachers' professional development have a bad influence on teachers' Life Beliefs and the result of theory research can't be popularized in teaching practice. This study puts forwards the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions:(1) conversing the teaching view and strengthening the awareness of Life Beliefs.(2)reforming the teacher's training system, perfecting the corresponding training subject.(3)creating the free and relaxing atmosphere for secondary school teacher's working, guiding middle school teachers to obtain life identity sense.
