A Study On Social Work Involvement In The Endowment Dilemma Of The Aged With Disabilities In Rural Areas

The second national sample survey of persons with disabilities shows that the number of disabled people in China is as high as 82.69 million,of which 53.24% are aged 60 or above.The trend of coexistence of old age and disability is obvious.With the aging of our population increasingly serious,the disability of the elderly is a serious social problem,which makes the elderly who are in a weak situation more vulnerable.However,because of the influence of their own physical factors,the elderly with disabilities in rural areas cannot take care of themselves and their living environment is relatively closed,which is weakened by the tradition of filial piety in our country.The influence and restriction of many factors,such as inadequate guarantee policy and imperfect infrastructure,and the special rural areas,including the elderly with disabilities.The old-age group's pension problem needs to be solved urgently.Based on the theory of social support,energy enhancement theory and the dominant angle of view,combining the professional social work case intervention method and the community work intervention method,this paper analyzes the old-age plight of two different genders in village C.It also tries to establish and maintain a cooperative network and relationship with different organizations and people in the community,so as to create a good resource and personnel environment for the solution of the elderly with disabilities in rural areas.The framework of this paper is divided into four parts: the first chapter is mainly to study the purpose,significance and related research theory of clarity;the second chapter of the elderly with disabilities in village C,the current situation of the elderly are investigated and analyzed;The third chapter is the elaboration of the social work intervention process,the fourth chapter is the difficulty and the experience reflection of the case intervention process.This paper investigates and studies the plight of the elderly with disabilities in village c,and collects the relevant data of the plight of the elderly with disabilities in village c by means of observation and interview,and analyzes and summarizes the types,reasons and effects of the plight of the elderly with disabilities in village c.Further using the professional methods and theories of social work,two disabled elderly persons in village c were involved in the case.After intervening in the plight of the elderly with disabilities in all aspects of the countryside,the author finds that the needs of the elderly with disabilities in the rural areas are in urgent need of social attention,while the needs of material and medical care are relative to each other.It's easier to improve,but what really makes rural disabled people feel happy and fulfilling is the satisfaction of spiritual support.
