Relationship Between Social Support And Loneliness In Male Drug Addicts:Mediating Role Of Social Anxiety

In recent years,with the variety of drugs increased,the spread of the expansion of the phenomenon of drug abuse is becoming more and more serious.Drugs can make the body and mind of drug addicts depend on them,harm the normal mechanism of human body,damage the nerve center of drug addicts,reduce life span,lead to family tragedy,and even disturb the public security.Drug addicts not only need physical detoxification,but also need to get rid of their addiction,not to let drugs become a stumbling block in life.With the increase of individual stress,some people use drugs to escape from real life.Drug addiction has a serious impact on themselves,their families and the society.Drug use,anxiety,depression,loneliness and helplessness,psychological crisis,often produce unreasonable cognition.Compared with female drug addicts,male drug addicts have more serious social harmfulness,tend to act impulsively,have lower social support level than female drug addicts,and have greater psychological and emotional fluctuations.In this study,social support scale,social anxiety scale and loneliness scale were used to investigate 700 male drug addicts in a compulsory drug rehabilitation center in Guangxi.621 valid questionnaires were collected,with an effective rate of 88.7%.Through to the drug addicts of social support,social anxiety,loneliness,further explore the inner psychological characteristics of drug addicts,study drug addicts social support,social anxiety,loneliness,the relationship between deviation was used to adjust the Bootstrap MCMC method of cross validation with a priori information social anxiety in drug addicts the driving mechanism in the social support and loneliness.The result of this study are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in social support between male drug users in terms of age,marital status,education level,years of drug use and times of drug withdrawal;There are significant differences in age and educational level of social anxiety.Loneliness was significantly different in age and years of drug use.(2)Social support was negatively correlated with social anxiety,social support was negatively correlated with loneliness,and social anxiety was positively correlated with loneliness.Negative social support predicted social anxiety,negative social support predicted loneliness,and positivesocial anxiety predicted loneliness.(3)Social anxiety of male drug addicts had significant mediating effects between social support and loneliness,and social anxiety had significant mediating effects between social support and loneliness.According to the results of this study,it is suggested that in the future drug rehabilitation work,efforts should be made to create opportunities,provide social support for drug addicts,do a good job in psychological prevention for family members,encourage family members and friends to visit drug rehabilitation centers,so that drug addicts can feel the warmth of family affection and reduce loneliness.Through the development of physiological detoxification,rehabilitation training,ideological education,psychological counseling,community activities and other work,so that they adapt to the society in advance,reduce social anxiety,correct self-understanding,self-acceptance.To help drug addicts make up their minds to get rid of drugs and establish a correct world outlook,outlook on life and values.
