SWOT Analysis On The Development Of Mountain Cycling In Gansu Province

Men and women in Gansu province cycling team is a hard-working,tenacious style,the courage to forge ahead of the collective combat,the provincial government and in 1986 awarded the "Longyuan iron riding" the glorious title.In the competitive sports of Gansu province,mountain biking,wrestling,judo,middle and long distance running,marathon,canoeing,hockey and so on were once the traditional advantageous items,all of which have added glory to the competitive sports of Gansu province.But in recent years,with the provinces and cities to the attention of competitive sports,as well as the rapid development of competitive sports,Gansu had the advantages of the project gradually weakened! In the domestic and foreign competitions results are declining,but the mountain bike project can still in recent years in the domestic competition for Gansu competitive sports achieved excellent results.In order to understand the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of the development of mountain biking in Gansu province,and in combination with the current situation of the development of mountain biking at home and abroad,in-depth research was conducted from the aspects of training methods,talent reserve,event preparation and infrastructure construction.To provide reasonable Suggestions for the development of mountain biking in Gansu province,put forward effective measures for mountain biking training in Gansu province,and promote the development of this cause.In the research process of this paper,the advantages,disadvantages,opportunities and challenges of the development of mountain biking in Gansu province were studied in depth by using the methods of literature,Delphi,field investigation,inductive deduction and SWOT analysis,and the following conclusions were drawn:1.Advantages of the development of mountain biking in Gansu province(1)policy support from governments at all levels of Gansu province for the mountain bike project;(2)unique plateau geographical location and low oxygen climate;(3)competitive advantage of mountain biking in Gansu province;(4)the hardworking spirit of athletes;(5)coaches' persistent faith in mountain biking;(6)coaches have accumulated rich training means and methods.2.Disadvantages of mountain biking in Gansu province(1)the organizational management mechanism needs to be further improved;(2)incomplete construction of the coach team;(3)insufficient reserve talents for mountain bike project;(4)there are fund bottlenecks in the development of mountain bike project;(5)the equipment is not perfect;(6)insufficient nutritional supplements for athletes;(7)lack of medical supervision team;(8)athletes lack professional theoretical knowledge;(9)there are few opportunities for learning and communication with advanced mountain biking countries in the world;(10)athletes' special strength and speed shifting ability are poor;(11)weak scientific research.3.There are opportunities for the development of mountain biking in Gansu province(1)strong support from China cycling association;(2)the importance attached by relevant national policies to sports in the new era;(3)support of relevant policies for mountain biking in Gansu province.4.Challenges facing the development of mountain bike in Gansu province are as follows(1)the development of basic sports in Gansu province restricts the development of mountain biking;(2)the gap between China and provinces with strong sports and strong sports;(3)competition between mountain biking and other sports is fierce;(4)intensive event arrangement;(5)the mountain bike project has a high input cost.According to the actual situation of mountain bike in gansu province,the following development Suggestions are put forward:(1)increase the investment in mountain biking;(2)it is urgent to solve the problem that mountain bike is far from enough to mobilize reserve force.Mountain bike courses can be set up in middle and high schools to solve the problem of reserve talents of mountain bike.(3)scientific research personnel;(4)dietitians,medical teams,psychological counselors,mechanics and other indispensable personnel;(5)strengthen the learning of athletes' professional theoretical knowledge and other cultural knowledge.
