The teacher team in China's compulsory education stage mainly relies on the training of normal universities,but with the development of educational reform,the graduates of non-normal universities with teacher qualification certificates can also enter the teacher team through the teacher recruitment.Most of these teachers have not received systematic professional training in normal education.Compared with teachers who graduated from normal universities,they lack a solid theoretical foundation of education and practical experience,which also causes difficulties in improving their professional development level.The professional development of teachers is not only the basic guarantee of students' quality,but also the key to guarantee teachers' quality.Therefore,it is certain theoretical and practical value to study the differences between the professional development of normal teachers and non-normal teachers in the stage of compulsory education.Based on the theory of humanistic management and competency-based education,this study uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to focus on the normal teachers and non-normal teachers in five primary and middle schools in Tangshan City.This paper summarizes the differences of the professional development between normal teachers and non-normal teachers in the compulsory education stage: the professional development of normal teachers is better than that of non-normal teachers in general;In the three dimensions of professional affection,professional knowledge and professional ability,normal teachers are significantly better than non-normal teachers;There are significant differences between normal teachers and non-normal teachers in the overall and three dimensions of professional development,and some individual variables.Then it analyzes the factors affecting the professional development of non-teachers in the compulsory education stage of Tangshan City from the individual level,school level and social level,and finds out the five most important factors affecting their professional development,including professional learning experience,teaching reflection,their own professional development consciousness,teacher qualification system and teaching.Finally,according to the conclusion of the investigation and research,this study puts forward the following suggestions to promote the professional development of non-normal teachers from the aspects of individual,school and society: Teachers should actively carry out self-reflection;Clarify the goal consciousness of professional development;Perfect the teacher qualification system to guarantee the quality bottom line of prospective teachers;Perfect the system of "Pairing master and apprentice";Provide non-normal teachers with more opportunities for study and further education;Schools should build a cooperative teaching culture.
