The evaluation of teachers' professional morality is not only an important part of the evaluation system of teachers in colleges and universities,but also an important way of higher education management.In the context of comprehensively deepening the reform of teacher team construction and implementing the professional behavior ten standards of teacher in the new era,this study,based on the historical development and practical exploration of the evaluation of teacher's professional morality in Chinese universities and based on the fourth-generation evaluation theory revision model,reflectes on and discuss the elements and paths of the evaluation of teachers' ethics in colleges and universities under the new situation,including the value pursuit,evaluation orientation,evaluation subject,index system and evaluation process method,aiming to give full play to the function of the evaluation of teachers' professional morality and further improve the scientific level of that.Through the comprehensive application of literature,interview and case study,this study combines theoretical discussion with empirical research,investigates the current situation of the implementation of the evaluation of professional morality in colleges and universities,analyzes the existing problems,and then discusses the evaluation mechanism of teachers' professional morality in colleges and universities under the background of comprehensively deepening the reform of teachers' team construction and implementing the ten standards of teachers' professional behavior in the new era.In terms of the structure and content design,this paper proposes three progressive subjectivity questions,namely what to evaluate,what to base on and howto evaluate,to study and answer them one by one.First of all,for the what to evaluate,by combing the historical context of the evaluation of teachers' professional morality,with historical data,current policies and practical cases to answer.After that,starting from the analysis of the existing problems and new tasks in the current teachers' professional morality evaluation,this paper discusses the necessary elements for the implementation of the teachers' professional morality evaluation in colleges and universities on the theoretical level,and gives an answer to the what to base on of the teacher morality evaluation based on the fourth-generation evaluation theory.Finally,from the perspective of the practical application of teachers' professional morality in colleges and universities,this paper discusses the subject and responsibility,content and index framework,process and method of evaluation implementation in the practical level,and gives an answer to how to evaluate,that is policy suggestions of the evaluation paths and methods of teachers' professional morality.
