Research On The Present Situation Of Sexual Values In Contemporary Universities And Educational Countermeasures

Sex is a problem one has to face in one's life.It is also an important aspect of one's own understanding.In this study,25 college students from five universities in xx university city were studied.By means of the methods of qualitative research,the author obtained the data of college sexual values first hand.They are conservative values based on marriage,moderate values based on love,and open values based on freedom and spontaneityThe main characteristics of the natural values are: laissez-faire values are untypified in college students,limited sexual exploration,lack of reflection and neglect of sexual rights.Through further individual comparison,it is found that the sexual values of male and female college students,sexual minority and majority students and college students with or without sexual exploration have obvious differences.(b)Sexual minorities are better able to explore and understand themselves and to view phenomena such as sex workers,homosexuality,etc.;The sexual values of college students are based on reflection and reflect on gender stereotypes,while the unexplored college students look at the sexual phenomena with subjective imagination and conform to gender stereotypes.There are many puzzles,inner conflicts and contradictions about sex in college students.Among them,the common confusion among college students is mainly caused by the lack of sexual knowledge,sexual exploration,incomplete sexual knowledge,unscientific understanding,traditional sexual morality,gender stereotypes,etc..Because of gender prejudice and discrimination,sexual minority college students feel that they can not better explore and accept sex and exercise their sexual rights.The self-objectification of female college students with conservative values is serious,and the gender inequality caused by certain stereotypes in social concepts makes female college students feel pessimistic.By combing the types,characteristics,differences and the confusion of sex and conflict of contemporary University sexual values,the present situation of contemporary University sexual values is presented in detail and integrally.Based on the interviews and literature,this paper analyzes the change of sexual values caused by the process of social change,especially the influence of the one-child policy on the family relations,family education and the rapid development of the Internet,which makes it easier for college students to obtain the sexual information and the sexual and cultural interaction among the peer groups in colleges and universities.Finally,the author synthesizes the present situation of sexual values in contemporary universities,the reasons for the change of sexual values in universities and the interview,and puts forward the educational countermeasures of sexual values in college from three aspects: educational content,educational object and educational carrier.The content of education mainly helps college students to resolve the psychological confusion and conflict about sex.The object of education should be more differentiated,and its concrete manifestation is to guide the college students to view their parents 'marital relationship and its influence on themselves rationally,especially the college students with divorced family or family relationship disharmony,leading a few college students to accept their gender role and leading the female students who hold conservative values but struggle to respect their subjectivity.Finally,it is necessary to give full play to the role of university network platform and community activities in guiding the practice of college sexual values education.
