The Problem Of Hollow Village In The Background Of Population Mobility

In the context of population mobility,many rural people follow their neighbors or relatives to work out of the rural area and find that income from non-agricultural industry is far more than that of traditional agriculture.The development of urbanization has a huge impact on the rural population structure,and the problem of village hollowing is more prominent.The "hollow" problem has a far-reaching impact on the development of rural society in China.On the one hand,it results in such problems as the waste of land resources,the loss of elite,the "feeling of empty" among the left-behind group,the lagging of the agricultural production and the increasing development gap between urban and rural system.On the other hand,current social resources are concentrated in the urban development,and the rural development is short of substantive measures.The development of rural area is in a bottleneck period.Since 2003,the Central Document has been paying attention to the problem of "three agriculture" for 14 consecutive years,and the party and government are aware of the seriousness of the rural problems and gradually focus their work on the countryside.Farmers' problems are the core of current rural problems and the key work is to solve the problem of "hollowing out" in the rural areas.Efforts should be made to increase farmers' income,enhance rural education and rural social security.We should pay more attention to the practical problems related to the interests of farmers,take the road of coordinating the rational distribution and integrated development of urban and rural resources,rationally plan rural construction,fully guarantee the rights and interests of farmers,and build and develop a new socialist countryside.This paper focuses on the difference characteristics of the "hollow" problem in rural areas,and combines the characteristics of the general trend of rural problems.With empirical research methods,the paper takes village W of Wuwei County,Anhui province as the investigation area.Based on literature review and the collected investigation data,the paper analyzes the basic factors and the environmental mechanism of rural "hollow" formation and explores the suggestions and countermeasure..This Study is divided into four parts:The first part expounds the background and significance of the study,and summarizes the related research on the "hollowing" problem,and defines the relevant concepts and the innovation in the process of the study.The second part,through the survey data,analyzes the current situation and characteristics of hollowing in village W of Wuwei County.The third part analyzes the development stages of rural hollowing and its impact on social development.The fourth part,in view of the study process of rural "hollowing" problems,puts forward relevant proposals and plans,explores the development model of rural hollowing management,summarizes the conclusions of this study for future research.
