Urbanization is the only way for human economic and social development.Urbanization not only plays a huge role in expanding domestic demand, improve the consumption structure and the realization of sustained economic growth, but also exposes a series of negative problems at the same time.It has threatened to economic and social sustainable development. In order to avoid the negative impact and prevent it expand,we must cope with all the various risks and challenges actively. It is necessary to get rid of the traditional urbanization path and implement the new urbanization strategy. The new urbanization has provided a new direction for China’s urbanization development in the future, and with the launch of the policy about new urbanization,it has become a new highlight of our country’s growth. The new urbanization has generous connotation. What is more important is it can adjust the conflict and irrational factors in the traditional urbanization. There is great theoretical and realistic significance to receive the unanimous attention of the political and academic circles. The new urbanization has become the main direction and trend of urbanization, and the research on new urbanization has become an important topic in theory and reality. There have been many researches have studied the influencing factors of new urbanization, including economic development, industrial level, population factors, science and technology education, institutional environment, etc.Among them, population transfer is mainly affected by income gap,and labor productivity is the key factor in the development of the industry.Since wage income is the main component of household income, labor productivity can also effectively measure the level of output in a region. Therefore, this paper studies the impact of both on the new urbanization from the perspective of salary and labor productivity. At the same time, wage and labor productivity have the real differences between different areas along with economic development, also bring many problems to the society, has drawn great attention of the whole society and the universal concern of theoretical circle. In this case, this paper discusses the relationship of wage level, labor productivity and new urbanization in order to promote the development of new urbanization.Based on the analysis of regional discrepancies between wage and labor productivity, using comparative analysis method, this paper divides our country into three regions of the east, central and west. The comparative study shows that the wage level and labor productivity are different in space. On the basis of theoretical analysis, determine the level of wages, labor productivity as the explained variable, human capital and the level of foreign direct investment as control variables, through collecting 240 cities in China from 1995 to 2015 in the relevant data and empirical analysis.Stata measurement software is used to analyze the influence of various factors on the new urbanization. The result of regression analysis shows that the improvement of wage level and labor productivity can effectively and significantly promote the development of new urbanization in China, but there are obvious regional differences. The improvement of the wage level is different to the new urbanization level in the east, central and western regions, which is more obvious to the eastern region. The improvement of labor productivity level will promote the construction of new urbanization in the central and western regions, but it will hinder the construction of new urbanization in the eastern region. In order to narrow the gap between regional new urbanization development and promote the new development of urbanization effectively, puts forward the following suggestions based on the above empirical research: on the one hand, the government must establish development concept of new urbanization and create a good investment environment,on the other hand, due to the differences in the new urbanization level,it is necessary to adjust the policy to adapt the local conditions. The eastern region should continue to raise local wages, and the central and western regions should focus on the improvement of labor productivity. |
