After 40 years of remarkable economic development,China's comprehensive national strength has been significantly enhanced, and people's lives have become increasingly prosperous. At the same time, there are many problems in the field of income distribution, which affect social harmony and stability and restrict the sustainable development of economy. These problems are mainly manifested in the large income gap among residents, the large income gap between industries and regions, the low proportion of labor remuneration in income distribution and the low proportion of residents' income in National income. How to continuously improve the income level of the masses and make them feel more from the tide of economic development has become the focus of the work of the Party and the government. The report of the Nineteenth National Congress pointed out that "we should persist in achieving simultaneous growth of residents' income while economic growth, and simultaneous improvement of labor remuneration while improving labor productivity".This shows that the Party and the government have fully realized the existing problems in the field of income distribution and emphasized that "two synchronization" is an important measure for the Party and the government to safeguard the vital interests of the people, maintain high-quality economic growth and safeguard social equity and justice.Industrial agglomeration is an important industrial organization mode of regional economic development in China at present and even for a long time. Many provinces rely on their advantageous resources and location advantages to formulate corresponding industrial agglomeration policies to promote manufacturing industry agglomeration,high-tech industry agglomeration and service industry agglomeration development.Industrial agglomeration can trigger agglomeration effect,so that enterprises in the agglomeration area can obtain external advantages such as resources, labor force, technology, effectively improve enterprise productivity and promote wage increase. The main purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of industrial agglomeration on wages and to verify whether it can promote the simultaneous increase of labor productivity and wages. This paper takes the provincial panel data from 2006 to 2016 as the research object, and chooses the manufacturing industry data to verify the impact of industrial agglomeration on labor productivity and wages. The empirical results show that:(1)industrial agglomeration can effectively improve the labor productivity of manufacturing industry and raise wages;(2)At present, the impact of industrial agglomeration on labor productivity and wages is different, and the synchronous increase of labor productivity and wages has not been realized, and the impact on wages is less than that on labor productivity;(3)The results of regional regression in China are compared and found. The impact of industrial agglomeration on labor productivity and wages varies among the eastern, central and Western regions, with the largest gap in the western region, the second in the central region and the closest in the eastern region.Based on the above conclusions, this paper suggests that: first, industrial agglomeration is still an important means of current economic development.Local governments should promote the development of regional industrial agglomeration, clarify regional comparative advantages and rationally select leading industries;second, guide the regional transfer of manufacturing industry to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry;third, promote institutional innovation, optimize business environment, and lighten the burden of enterprises;Government departments should improve income distribution policies and increase the proportion of labor income in income distribution.Fifth, improve human capital and promote wage increase.
