Colleges and universities occupy an important position in the national science and technology innovation system and shoulder the important historic mission of building an innovative country.University teachers not only shoulder the responsibility of teaching and training talents,but also are the backbone of scientific research innovation.Teachers' performance evaluation is conducive to mobilizing the enthusiasm of teachers in scientific research and teaching work,and promoting the improvement of teachers' scientific research and teaching ability.However,there are many problems and contradictions in the current performance evaluation system for teachers' work,especially for the evaluation of teachers' scientific research performance.How should we balance the work performance of teachers in the two aspects of scientific research and teaching? How to show the differences of scientific research performance in different disciplines? How to deal with the relationship between the scientific research process and the scientific research results? How to evaluate teachers' academic papers and the benefits of scientific and technological achievements? These problems often fail to be solved objectively,scientifically and reasonably in the evaluation system,which is closely related to the existing management system and operation mechanism in universities,but the main reason is the misleading evaluation of value orientation.If there is no scientific and reasonable value orientation for university teachers' scientific research performance evaluation,it will definitely dampen teachers' enthusiasm for scientific research and teaching work,thus affecting the improvement of the overall level of scientific research in universities.Based on the theory of value philosophy and the comprehensive application of the relevant theoretical knowledge of science and technology management and higher education,this paper tries to analyze the causes of the defects in the evaluation of scientific research performance from the value orientation,and try to put forward a scientific and reasonable value orientation for the construction section.It provides a reference for a scientific and reasonable evaluation system of University Teachers' scientific research performance.The first chapter briefly expounds and combs the research purpose,significance,goal and method of this article as well as related domestic and foreign related research literature.The second chapter,based on the interpretation of the connotation,standards and methods of the evaluation of University Teachers' scientific research performance,focuses on the value orientation and its role in the evaluation of University Teachers' scientific research performance.The third chapter comprehensively combs out the many disadvantages existing in the college teachers' scientific research performance evaluation system,such as attach importance to quantity and underestimate quality,pay attention to scientific research and neglect teaching,focus on the process of overlooking the result,and so on.From the perspective of value,this paper deeply analyzes the root causes of these ills.The fourth chapter puts forward some suggestions on reconstructing the scientific and reasonable value orientation and perfecting the evaluation system of university teachers' scientific research performance.
