The equal relationship in marriage is the projection of gender relations in the family structure.Individualized theory puts forward that individuals can realize the intervention of family life style by virtue of subjective consciousness and freedom of choice, and carry out the management of family life style according to their own needs. The family thus becomes the process of achieving self-development rather than the result. In modern society, the establishment of equal relationship between husband and wife needs to maintain individual autonomy within the family, and through the formation of communication interaction model based on shared values to achieve.Taking the Christian community in Shanghai as the research object, this thesis probes into the construction process of the equal relationship between husband and wife in the core family through the investigation of the individual couple’s ethical concept and family relationship model.By comparing Christian teachings with personal ideas, the study found that “They will become one flesh”,“Adam’s rib” and “wife obeying her husband” constitute the basis of Christian ideas about the ethics of husband and husband, and individualized action can enable Christians to construct a fusion relationship through the integration of personal ideas and family life. This thesis summarizes and analyzes the equal relationship between husband and wife in Christian family from three aspects. The first part unfolds the Christian understanding of the couple’s ethics in the Bible.Individual equality and the unity of husband and wife provide cultural resources for the construction of the equal relationship between husband and wife of Christians. The second part expounds and analyzes the influencing factors, the distribution mode of household chores and the generation mechanism of family decision-making in the mode of husband and wife communication. In the Christian family, the self-centered mode of interaction exists at the same time as the mode of communication centered on the relationship between husband and wife.Different modes of interaction are the result of the combination of individualized belief and the ethics of couple unity. The third part focuses on the involvement of husband and wife in the process of children’s education. As the focus of the educational model, the belief identity of the children reflects the formation process of the consultation mechanism in the relationship between husband and wife. The thesis holds that the concept of individual standard and the unity of couple makes the equal relationship be premised on individuality. The pursuit of shared values can weaken the function of the distribution of rights and obligations in the stability of the relationship between husband and wife. The process of establishing the equal relationship between husband and wife is a unified action structure formed by the individual in the process of adjusting the concept and external factors internally. The priority of the relationship prompts the individual to be able to maintain a good conjugal relationship when dealing with other family relationships.Individual autonomy and integration play a common role in the construction of equal relationship between husband and wife.
