Personalized learning is a dynamic learning process that takes students as the center and promotes their learning development by means of independent choice,teacher guidance and technical support according to their personalities,emotions,attitudes and other needs.Personalized learning is necessary for China's educational development,and it is also the need of deepening educational reform in the world.Personalized learning is the demand for the close integration of education and technology in the information age,and it is also the requirement for developing deep learning in the knowledge age.In recent years,American scholars have been particularly prominent in the study of personalized learning and technical support.This study takes the personalized learning of American primary and secondary schools as the research topic.It selects seven schools in the two school districts that have implemented personalized learning in the early years as research cases.Through literature analysis,case analysis and comparative analysis,it analyzes the practical experience of personalized learning in American primary and secondary schools.The analysis is based on the perspective of deep learning theory.Then the study combines the problems of personalized learning in China,trying to provide reference for our country.The research questions in this paper mainly include the following four aspects: 1.What is personalized learning? What are the relevant theories of personalized learning in American primary and secondary schools? 2.Taking seven schools as examples,this paper analyzes the practice of seven schools from the perspective of deep learning.3.What conclusions can be obtained from case studies and literature analysis for personalized learning in primary and secondary schools in the United States? 4.What experience can China draw from the practice of personalized learning in American primary and secondary schools?This research mainly includes the following six chapters.Chapter one mainly summarizes the research background,research problems,research methods and other relevant contents.The second chapter firstly defines and analyzes relevant concepts,and secondly analyzes the theoretical basis of the research.Chapter three and chapter four respectively take four schools in Dallas school district and three schools in Denver school district in the United States as examples.It summarizes the current situations of the region and analyzes the content,effectiveness and challenges of the personalized learning practices of the seven schools based on the perspective of deep learning.Based on the analysis results of the above cases and relevant literature,chapter five summarizes the characteristics and support paths of personalized learning in American primary and secondary schools.According to the relevant conclusions,the sixth chapter mainly provides enlightenment for the personalized learning of primary and secondary schools in China from the macro and micro levels.The research finds that in the new technology era,personalized learning practice in American primary and secondary schools focuses on students,teachers,environment and technology.Firstly,it pays attention to the personalized needs of students and attaches importance to the cultivation of students' self-learning ability.Secondly,it emphasizes the guidance and promotion of teachers throughout the whole learning process.At the same time,it pays attention to the development of flexible space and time to promote students' learning.Finally,we should attach great importance to the application of educational technology in personalized learning and use technical means to promote the cooperation and development of various elements in personalized learning.
