Under the background of the continuous reform and development of education,the scale of art students is growing.As we all know,art students generally get low grades in cultural courses,which undoubtedly becomes a major obstacle on the way to learning.Mathematics,among cultural courses,is often the most difficult subject for art students.Therefore,in the process of teaching,how to arouse the interest in mathematics learning and improve their mathematical literacy has always been a hot issue.At present,with the advancement of curriculum reform,mathematics culture has attracted more and more attention.Some researchers focus on the improving the mathematics academic level from the cultural perspective,and propose the corresponding mathematics teaching strategies.It has two advantages to infiltrate the mathematical culture in teaching.On the one hand,it can solve the difficulties in learning and improve the mathematical literacy;on the other hand,it can help students understand mathematical knowledge and link mathematics with reality.This paper attempts to explore a mathematical culture teaching mode suitable for art students to mobilize their interest in mathematics learning and improve their mathematical literacy.Firstly,we obtain the teaching situation,mathematics learning model and thinking characteristics of art students by interviews,questionnaires,classroom observation and so on.Then for the students from different majors such as music,fine art and dance,in order to improve the mathematical literacy,we combine their professional knowledge with mathematical culture in teaching,try to apply mathematical knowledge to their professional learning,and infiltrate mathematics into the life practice of art students.Finally,the teaching strategies and principles of mathematics culture suitable for art students are investigated on the basis of the teaching cases and effect.This thesis includes seven sections.Section 1 introduces the background and significance of this thesis,literature review,research ideas and research method.Section 2 introduces a survey.Section 3 investigates the current teaching situation of art students the learning characteristics and teaching difficulties via the survey.In section 4,the mathematical culture is applied to the art students of different majors in actual teaching.And the differences and similarities in learning of art students are obtained.The teaching mode of mathematics culture suitable for art students is researched based on the specific teaching cases in section 5.In section 6,an example is given to illustrate the proposed teaching strategies.The last part is the summary.
