Matthew Lipman is the founder of children's philosophy and is known as the "father of children's philosophy." Through reflection on American school education,Lipman proposed to carry out children's philosophy education to cultivate children's critical,innovative and caring thinking,with dialogue as the main communication method and group inquiry as the main practice form.From a philosophical perspective,combined with children's life experience,we enter the world of children,pay attention to children's life world,and then guide children to understand the world,discover the beautiful meaning of life,and finally enable children to think independently,rationally judge,democratic,and rational citizens.Lipman's proposal on children's philosophy education has had a profound impact on the United States,and even has a certain impact on the whole world.On the basis of defining the connotation of children's philosophy education,this study makes a theoretical analysis of children's philosophy education.This study first uses literature research method to neaten and analyze Matthew Lipman's relevant literature,and then traces back the theoretical origin of Lipman's philosophy of education in the text.Secondly,it mainly reflects Lipman's philosophy of children's education thought from the method of "hermeneutics",which makes the research of Lipman's philosophy of children's education more three-dimensional.This study is mainly divided into four chapters to discuss Lipman's philosophy of children's education.The first chapter mainly analyses the premise of Lipman's idea of children's philosophy education.Lipman's idea of children's philosophy education is based on Lipman's reflection on the current American school education.It finds that school education can't cultivate children's thinking ability,inhibit children's development and explore the unknown world.On this basis,learning School education should be restructured and reformed to carry out philosophy education for children.The second chapter of this study is about the premise analysis of Lipman's purpose of philosophy education for children.Lipman believes that the purpose of philosophy education for children is to cultivate democratic citizens with critical thinking,independent thinking,problem solving and rational thinking.This study analyses the theoretical sources of Lipman's children's philosophy education purpose.Lippmann inherits Dewey's ideal of democratic society,and puts forward the idea of developing children's critical,innovative and caring thinking mode,and ultimately realizes the ideal of children's philosophy education.The third chapter of this study mainly analyzes the premise of Lipman's children's philosophy education in practice.Lipman's practice on children's philosophy education is mainly in the form of dialogue and group inquiry.The main reason is that Lipman's knowledge is from the pragmatic theory derived of Dewey and Peirce and the relationship between Vygotsky and Piaget about language and thinking,and the influence of Wittgenstein's analytic philosophy on language games.Therefore,Lipman emphasized the main way of "dialogue" and "group inquiry".The fourth chapter of this study mainly analyzes the premise of Lipman's children's philosophy education text and the requirements of children's philosophy teachers.Lipman's children's philosophy education is philosophical and the formal purpose is educational.Lippmann emphasized that the purpose of children's philosophy education is not to train children into philosophers.Lipman emphasizes the philosophical nature of content,cultivates educational reflective ability,emphasizes the process of allowing children to feel the process of philosophical inquiry,and finally forms a critical Logical thinking,and the ability to think and solve problems independently.Therefore,Lippmann emphasizes avoiding the boring,esoteric and circumscribed philosophical texts,and advocates the textual compilation of vivid philosophical novels.From the children's life experience,the selection of children's philosophy education content is required,and the philosophy teachers are required to be reasonable to Carry out children's philosophy education.The final part of the study is a summary,mainly about a series of evaluations of Lipman's theory of children's philosophy education.
