The new high school chemistry curriculum standard has established a target system for developing students' core literacy.The chemistry history education has an advantage of training students to understand the evolution process of chemistry knowledge principles,stimulating chemistry learning interest,learning scientific thinking methods,mastering the basic skills of chemical inquiry and Stimulating students' sense of innovation.By the teaching of chemical history case,the chemical core literacy of "macro identification and microscopic analysis","change concept and balance thought","evidence reasoning and model cognition","scientific inquiry and innovation" and “scientific attitude and social responsibility” for high school students can be cultivated.The research methods in this paper mainly include literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method and case study method.A questionnaire survey on the present situation of chemical history case teaching was conducted to 40 chemistry teachers in Ningcheng High School of Chifeng City.It was found that high school chemistry teachers had insufficient understanding of the history of chemical,did not pay enough attention to it,couldn't teach using the chemical history case,and so on.Based on the analysis of present situation of chemical history case teaching at home and abroad,it is proposed the general principles of authenticity,enlightenment,typicality and interactivity,and the general process of “ collection and collation of case —exhibition of case—analyzation and discussion of case—summarization and evaluationof case ” for the teaching of chemical history case in middle school.The knowledge of benzene has played an important role in the organic content of high school chemistry.At present,there is a problem between the compulsory content and the elective content in the benzene teaching of high school chemistry,and the structural explanation of benzene is not comprehensive enough.So the benzene was chosen as the research object,the relevant contents of benzene in the current high school chemistry textbooks "Chemistry 2" and "Chemical Elective 5" was integrated,the teaching case of "Structure and Properties of Benzene" was built.According to the order of "the discovery of benzene,the physical properties,the determination of molecular formula,the structure of benzene and the chemical properties",the chemical history cases were compiled.The teaching case was carried out in Class 16 of Ningcheng High School.The practical results show that the case teaching of benzene chemical history has significant effects on "students' interest in learning,strengthening cooperation consciousness and improving independent inquiry ability".
