With the rapid development of the Internet,big data and cloud computing,people’s life have undergone earth-shaking changes.Especially for basic education,the development of the Internet has promoted the update of educational concepts and the reform of teaching methods,and "Internet + education" has gradually become an important starting point of national education.Information technology makes education break through the shackles of traditional teaching and forms a domino chain reaction in the field of education.Thus,moocs,the product of the development of The Times,came into being.Moocs are massive open online courses.In 2012,this new teaching method began to rise in the field of basic education and was in the ascendant.At the same time,the ideological and political education courses of senior high school not only assume the responsibility of imparting cultural knowledge to students,but also shoulder the responsibility of propagating and defending the national ideology.Therefore,in order to better conform to the trend of The Times and promote the teaching of ideological and political courses,the combination of moocs and ideological and political courses is an irresistible trend.Moocs are of great significance in the application of ideological and political teaching in senior high school.It is not only conducive to improve the comprehensive quality of students,but also to promote the professional development of teachers,and ultimately committed to deepening secondary education reform.However,in the actual ideological and political course mooc teaching process,the practical effect of mooc is not very ideal.Through the investigation and research on the application of moocs in the teaching of ideological and political courses in senior high schools,the main problems are as follows: students’ poor independent learning ability,teachers’ deep-rooted traditional education ideas and the defects of moocs themselves.Therefore,in order to strengthen the effectiveness of moocs in ideological and political course teaching,it needs to be improved from a variety of ways.The author mainly discusses from three aspects before,during and after class.In short,students should improve their independent learning ability,political teachers should change the old educational concepts and strengthen the ability of mooc teaching,and mooc courses should also be constantly improved and strengthened.By studying the strategies to improve moocs in high school ideological and political courses,the author hopes to promote the application and promotion of moocs in high school ideological and political courses,and finally open up a new realm for the development of basic education.
