General Secretary Xi said: “People do not stand up without virtue,and the root of educating people lies in virtue.” Senior high school ideological and political courses are the key courses to carry out the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people.It is particularly important to improve the teaching effect of senior high school ideological and political courses.As a kind of teaching method and art,through teachers' consciously setting aside space and time for students,leaving blank in class can stimulate students' participation consciousness,enhance students' learning initiative,help teachers and students establish equal and friendly teacher-student relationship,and improve the teaching effect.The purpose of using leaving blank in high school ideological and political courses is to give students the initiative to learn ideological and political knowledge and accept ideological and political education,improve the teaching effect of high school ideological and political courses,and thus better play the leading role of high school ideological and political courses in school moral education.The thesis takes the application of leaving blank in class in high school ideological and political teaching as the research theme,aiming at clarifying the existing problems in the practical application of leaving blank in class,exploring the causes of the problems,and providing reference for the efficient application of leaving blank in class in the future.The main body of the paper is divided into three parts.Firstly,the thesis summarizes the general situation of leaving blank in class in the high school ideological and political class.Through literature analysis,this part has made clear the connotation,characteristics and theoretical basis of application of leaving blank in class in high school ideological and political courses.In addition,this part analyzes the practical significance of leaving blank in class in high school ideological and political courses from the perspectives of students,teachers and teaching.Secondly,it analyzes the problems and causes of the application of leaving blank in class in high school ideological and political teaching.Based on the investigation and study of some students and teachers in five middle schools in L city of S province,combined with a semester-long classroom observation,the author found that there are some problems in the application of leaving blank in high school ideological and political class,such as insufficient presetting of classroom blank,poor application effect,poor feedback from teachers,low participation of students,etc.There are many reasons for the problem,such as the insufficient actual strength of schools to support leaving blank in class,the insufficient necessary literacy of teachers to use leaving blank in class,and the insufficient internal motivation of students to participate in leaving blank in class.At last,the paper puts forward the strategy of using leaving blank in high school ideological and political teaching.Aiming at the problems found in the investigation and the analysis of the causes,starting from the three aspects of schools,teachers and students,this paper tentatively puts forward relevant countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of the application of leaving blank in high school ideological and political class.Schools should also change the concept of running a school,and appropriately promote the leaving blank in class by increasing the class hours of ideological and political courses and strengthening teacher training.And the teachers should not only have an in-depth understanding of leaving blank in class,but also implement leaving blank in class in teaching.At the same time,student groups are not the main implementer of leaving blank in the classroom,but they still need to have the consciousness and ability to participate,need to master the methods of participation.In conclusion,as a teaching method and art to promote teaching effect,stimulate students' classroom participation and improve teachers' educational and teaching ability,the exertion and application effect of leaving blank in class are influenced not only by teachers,students and other educational and teaching subjects,but also by objective factors such as class hour arrangement.At present,the evaluation method of the application effect of leaving blank in class is still mainly manifested in teachers' subjective perception of classroom atmosphere,students' enthusiasm and other aspects,and the diversity and effectiveness of evaluation are still worthy of further study.
