The emergence of the left-behind children is a social phenomenon in the process of Chinese social urbanization,and also a problem of education.The past study on the left-behind children is mainly on the aspects of life,learning,behavior and so on,and the social public often shows negative stereotypes about the left-behind children(such as loneliness,sensitivity,apathy,low self-esteem,the problem of children,etc.),and the attention of the left-behind children is also continuous,But over time,some of the left-behind children,which have attracted much attention from the society,have distinguished themselves from entering the university and growing up to college students with a left-behind experience.The left-behind experience is mainly due to the absence of a parent company,which is also part of the university The traumatic memory of the early childhood,which not only can affect the human body,the intelligence and the behavior,but also influence the emotion,the positive emotion can promote the individual development,and the negative emotion will endanger the healthy growth of the individual and even others,Therefore,reasonable emotion management is particularly important for college students.The present study,combined with the development of college students' mental health,has found that not all of the students with left-behind experience have such "stereotype" performance,and they have shown good management ability in the aspect of emotion.The specific conclusions are as follows:(1)The overall level of emotional management of college students with left-behind experience is good;(2)The emotional management ability of college students with left-behind experience was significantly higher than that of college students without left-behind experience,and the negative emotional experience was more prominent during the period of staying;(3)There are different differences in emotional management among college students with left-behind experience(gender,grade,subject type,household registration,whether they are only children,whether they are student cadres,relationship with parents,length of time left behind,The father / mother goes out to work,the first time to stay,etc.);(4)The emotional regulation of college students with left-behind experience is mainly self-regulation;(5)Theemotional experience during the left-behind period has a significant impact on the emotional management of college students with left-behind experience;(6)The emotional management of college students with left-behind experience is affected by many factors.Based on the results of the above research,this study provides the following suggestions for the cultivation and improvement of the emotional management ability of the left-behind college students:(1)The individual level strengthens the emotional and mental health self-education,and actively seeks social support;(2)The family level pays attention to the enhancement of the psychological safety of the child,and establishes the effective connection between the parent and child;(3)The university level pays attention to the key period of the intervention;(4)The social dimension pays attention to the left-behind group and pays attention to the left-behind environment.
