The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of High School Students' Marine Consciousness

With the depletion of land resources and the deepening of human understanding of the ocean,the contribution of marine resources to the economic and social development of a country is growing.As a result,China has proposed a strategy to build a “maritime power”.Building a maritime power requires the people to have rich marine knowledge and the future builders to have a strong sense of the sea.High school is an important period for learning marine knowledge and raising marine awareness.Understanding the status of marine knowledge and marine consciousness of high school students,analyzing its inadequacies,and carrying out targeted marine education are the basis and guarantee for China to realize the strategy of “ocean power”.The main methods used in this study are literature research method,questionnaire survey method and contrast method to study the current situation of high school students' marine consciousness.The paper is divided into five parts,as follows: The introduction part,collect relevant data,collate and analyze the literature related to marine consciousness at home and abroad,and define the basic connotation of marine consciousness on the basis of previous studies,which lays the theoretical foundation of the research.Survey of the current situation of high school students' marine awareness.It is concluded that the basic knowledge of high school students needs to be improved,the economic resources of the sea are relatively important,the sense of sovereignty of the sea is strong,but the knowledge of rights and regulations is lacking,the awareness of marine environmental protection is strong,the practice of marine education is obviously insufficient,and high school students have a greater interest in marine knowledge.In addition,it was compared with other related research results.High school students have problems with the weak ocean consciousness and the causes.Firstly,it analyzes the problems of high school students' weak ocean consciousness.Secondly,it analyzes the reasons why the high school students' sea consciousness is weak: the traditional light seaconcept is deeply rooted,influenced by the college entrance examination system,and the school's marine education is underestimated and insufficient.Strategies and case design to strengthen the high school students' ocean consciousness propose corresponding solutions to the problems of high school students' ocean consciousness.The first is to change the traditional marine ideas;the second is to establish and improve the resource system of marine awareness education;Effectively integrate the elective content into the compulsory content;comprehensively use various media to enhance the propaganda of marine awareness education.There are two case designs: taking the circle structure of the earth and the water cycle of nature as an example,the knowledge in marine geography is effectively integrated into two classes.Through research,it is concluded that the high school students' ocean consciousness is weak overall.
