Under the challenge of sexual health risks and the threat of increased sexual violence,traditional school sex education services tend to use “abstinence” to prevent adolescents from “dangerous behaviors”.“Emerging” social work sex education services aim to help young people master science sexual knowledge,establish a healthy,flexible sexual attitude,and enhance self-efficacy in action,face up to and prevent possible dangers through services.Taking S middle school and W institution as examples,the author collects relevant materials through interviews,questionnaire evaluation and participation in sex education services,and examines and compares the sex education services in the three dimensions of service methods,service contents and service effects.Then draw the corresponding conclusions:(1)In terms of service methods,social work education integrates the concepts and methods of various professional social work.Compared with the relatively traditional and rigid methods of schools,it can provide young people with healthy and beneficial sex education;(2)In terms of service content,social work sex education is more comprehensive,pluralistic and enhances the self-efficacy of adolescents.It is more conducive to the mastery and use of sex education content than the school sex education with narrow content,single and weakened youth self-efficacy;(3)In terms of service effectiveness,social work sex education services are more effective than school sex education,helping young people to grasp clear and comprehensive sexual knowledge,establish a healthy and “elastic” role concept,and actively prevent various risks and threats psychologically. |
