Social Work Intervention Research On The Self-organization Ability Of Rural Left-behind Old People's Cultural Life Under The Regional Development Model

With the development of urbanization and marketization in China,the traditional rural structure has been broken,and a large number of left-behind old people have appeared.However,the public cultural services provided by the rural areas are limited and cannot meet the increasing spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly.Under the guidance of the regional development model,this study has carried out practical interventions on the cultural life construction of the left-behind elderly in Hubei G Village according to the stage characteristics of regional development.It explores the ways in which social work assists rural left-behind elderly people to enhance their self-organizing ability and enrich their cultural life.Based on the participatory observation,household visits and professional assessment of the village during the exploration period,the social worker developed a service plan.In the process,we also advocate activities for the elderly to pay attention to and solve the cultural life they face.During the mobilization period,social workers mainly explore and cultivate elite elderly people in the village,and exert their strength to integrate the resources in the village and promote the enthusiasm of other elderly people in the village.At the same time,in order to promote cultural construction work,a village literary squad was set up to allow the elderly to spontaneously build their own cultural life.In the period of consolidation,social workers set up a village literary committee on the basis of democratic consultation in order to further improve the self-organization ability of the elderly and consolidate the achievements of cultural construction.During the review period,social workers are required to assist the village literary committee to improve its mode of operation so that it can organize cultural activities independently according to changes in villages after the social workers are evacuated.Through the above practical interventions,it can be found that the community work carried out under the guidance of the regional development model can well mobilize the participation of rural residents and enhance their self-organization ability,so as to effectively solve the cultural construction problems of rural communities.
