| The dragon boat race is a national traditional sport in China.Although there are kayaking,canoeing and dugout canoeing in the Olympic water project,the dragon boat has not officially entered the Olympic Games.The dragon boat has its own traditional,nationality and characteristic.It has held official competitions in the CNGM and all major dragon boat sports events.In 2005,Shunde was known as the "hometown of Chinese dragon boats".Shunde dragon boat is a traditional ethnic sports item in Shunde district,Foshan city,Guangdong province.Under the guidance of national policies and local policies of Shunde,Shunde dragon boat has developed rapidly.It has a broad mass base and has certain influence in the whole country.Shunde Dragon Boat has become a typical representative of local folk culture symbols.As the national team,the Shunde Dragon Boat Club Team has achieved outstanding results on behalf of the country in the domestic and international dragon boat races,which has also made due contributions to the development of China’s dragon boat sport.This thesis use the methods of literature,expert interview,field research,mathematical statistics and logical analysis to investigate and study on following aspects : An overview of Guangdong Shunde Dragon Boat;policy and system construction,the organization of Guangdong Shunde Dragon Boat;the inheritance and development of cultural content of Guangdong Shunde Dragon Boat;and the inheritance method of Guangdong Shunde Dragon Boat;The specific investigation of Shunde Dragon Boat Club and the Media publicity of Shunde Dragon Boat.This thesis studies and analyzes the inheritance and development of dragon boat in Shunde and finds out the problems that existing in the development of Shunde dragon boat,and gives some reasonable suggestions.Through the research,Concluded as follow: 1.Some of the rituals gradually fade away;2.The environment of the track is complex,there are some hidden dangers in safety,and the river surge is gradually reduced;3.Shunde Dragon Boat has only been carried out in vocational middle schools,and it has not formed a certain scale;4.The diversification of events and activities has increased the pressure on government organizers,resulting in a shortage of funds;5.The single source of operating funds for professional clubs limits the expansion of personnel;6.The competitive level of Shunde dragon boat club has been impacted,the long-distance dragon boat race is in a weak position,and there is no women dragon boat team.These factors make Shunde Dragon Boat greatly influenced in the process of inheritance and development.In order to promote the continuous development of Shunde Dragon Boat Movement,this thesis puts forward the following suggestions: 1.Combine the traditional dragon boat culture with the competitive culture of modern dragon boat,and conform to the development of the times;2.Consummate the Construction of Dragon Boat Field and construct the International Standard Dragon Boat Stadium;3.To increase the training of dragon boat talents,introduce the training of dragon boat coaches,and train the talents of dragon boat race organization;4.The government should strengthen policy support,including funding,logistics,health,safety and so on,to guide the establishment of amateur dragon boat league;5.Increase financial support for Shunde Dragon Boat Club,expand the Dragon Boat training venue;6.To change the disadvantage of long distance dragon boat race in Shunde Dragon Boat Club and the situation of Shunde without a women dragon boat team,strengthen the scientific research and promotion of dragon boat,guide the brand of Shunde Dragon Boat and market-oriented construction and so on.In view of some problems existing in Shunde Dragon Boat,strong measures should be taken to continuously improve in order to promote the development of Shunde Dragon Boat and further promote the continuous development of China’s excellent traditional national sports. |
