Young children are masters of learning and active learners.As an important aspect of children’s learning quality,active learning emphasizes the learning quality based on interaction.The objects of interaction include both people and objects,which are manifested in the active participation,discovery,exploration and interaction with-people.Regional activities as a flexible form of education has been accepted by t he majority of preschool education workers and become an important part of children’s daily life.The regional activities in kindergartens generally have two tendencies.On e is the regional activities with game tendency,such as role playing area,performance area and construction area.The other is the regional activities of learning tendency,s uch as art area,living area,educational area,science area,language area.Voluntary,fr ee and spontaneous regional activities build a bridge for children to take the initiative to learn,and children build perceptual experience in regional activities to constantly b uild their own unique and rich inner world.However,at present,teachers’ support for children’s active learning in China’s kindergartens’ learning regional activities is insuff icient.In this study,large class teachers and children of Y kindergarten in kunming wer e selected as the cases,and the methods of literature review,non-participatory observa tion,case study and interview were mainly adopted.This paper shows the general situa tion of the kindergarten from four aspects: the purpose,the concept,the teachers and t he characteristics of the kindergarten.First of all,based on the two aspects of the large class teachers’ support for children’s active operation of objects and active interaction with people in Y kindergarten,the study elaborated the current situation of teachers’ s upport for children’s active learning from three stages before,during and after the lear ning regional activities.Secondly,based on the analysis of the status qua,the study fou nd that the current Y kindergarten learning area activities under the teacher’s support c hildren’s active learning achieved "active participation and observation","take the init iative to find and actively explore","division of active exchanges and cooperation","a djust measures to local conditions to expand space","six link buckle promote active le arning","covers five areas" characteristics.Thirdly,the study further concluded that teachers in large classes of Y kindergarten supported children’s active learning,which w as formalized before learning regional activities,eager to support in the process,and o verly concerned about works after activities.Finally,through in-depth analysis of the a bove problems,the study puts forward a series of Suggestions from the three perspecti ves of promoting children’s participation,encouraging children’s independent operatio n and communication,and respecting children’s subjects,so as to better support childr en’s active learning in regional learning activities.
