Research On The Involvement Of Social Work In Helping And Teaching Juvenile Delinquents

The problem of juvenile delinquency is one of the most serious problems in today's society.According to the statistics of the Ministry of Public Security,more than 30% of the cases involve juvenile delinquency.It can be seen that the number of cases is large and the harm is great.Therefore,it is of realistic necessity and urgency to help and educate juveniles.At present,the juvenile education is mainly carried out by the judicial department,but the effect is not ideal,and the recidivism rate is still high.It can be seen that improving the quality of juvenile education can not only rely on the judicial department,but also need the support of other forces.Social work takes "helping others and helping themselves" as its value concept,and uses its own professional skills,advantages and resources,which can further improve the quality of minors' assistance and teaching work,and then enable them to return to society smoothly and eliminate secondary crimes.Guided by the theory of social support,the theory of superiority perspective and the humanistic treatment model,this paper uses the methods and skills of social work specialty to help a minor Yin in the "Student Classroom" of Chaoyang District Court in Changchun City.The author carries on the thorough analysis from the individual level,family level and school level respectively,and on this basis summarizes the causes of Xiao Yin's crime.With the assistance of "social workstation" in Chaoyang District of Changchun City,the plan of helping and teaching was designed and implemented,and the professional concept and method of social work were used to provide help and teaching services to Xiaoyin.After the work of helping and teaching,the author evaluates Xiao Yin's thoughts,psychology,family relations and legal consciousness,and reflects on and summarizes the problems encountered in the process of participating in helping and teaching.The author believes that social work should not only concern the minors themselves,but also their families and schools,and comprehensively analyze the causes of juvenile delinquency from different perspectives,so as to carry out the work of helping and teaching in a targeted way and guide them to return to society smoothly.At the same time,I hope that through this article,more social workers can pay attention to the work of helping and teaching minors,and put forward more valuable suggestions for helping and teaching.
