Research On The Negative Influence Of Instrumental Rationality On College Students And Its Coping Strategies

General secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out: "the country will thrive when the youth are young,and the country will be strong when the youth are young.College students are an important part of the youth,so it is particularly important to pay attention to their growth and development.With the deepening of reform and opening up and globalization,the growth and development of college students are affected by various values in the period of social transition,and the influence of instrumental rationality on college students has always existed.With the rapid development of China's market economy and the continuous expansion and even alienation of instrumental rationality,the influence on students' growth and development starts to accumulate quantitatively and even change qualitatively.Instrumental rationality,one of the concepts of "rationality" proposed by the German sociologist Max weber,refers to the value concept of using effective means and optimal ways to achieve functional needs in practice.The essence of his behavior is that the actor USES rationality(using the most effective means)to achieve the purpose of utility maximization.It has the characteristics of the priority of material demand,the utility of seeking the best way,the reality of being oriented by the purpose and the strict standard logic thinking.With the rise of the research on instrumental rationality,the domestic research on instrumental rationality and ideological and political education,and its impact on college students is somewhat inadequate.The invasion of instrumental rationality has both positive and negative impacts on college students.However,it is difficult for college students to effectively judge whether it is good or bad,and it has a negative impact on some college students,which is reflected in the value orientation of utilitarianism,the short-term profit-oriented learning attitude,the interpersonal communication that downplays the true feelings and the career choice of material interests first.In addition,universities and society lack effective countermeasures.Therefore,effective measures should be taken to deal with the negative influence of instrumental rationality on college students from four dimensions,namely,market environment,cultural atmosphere,college education and personal consciousness.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction.This part elaborates the research purpose and significance of this paper,and comprehensively sorts out the domestic and foreign research status of instrumental rationality,the innovation points and deficiencies of this paper.The second part summarizes the relevant knowledge of instrumental rationality and clarifies the content to be studied conceptually.Including the concept of instrumental rationality,characteristics,origin and development,and explain the theoretical basis of the study.The third part,in the form of questionnaire survey,understand instrumental rationality of the value orientation of college students,learning attitude,interpersonal communication,the impact of career choice,and this article mainresearch summary the negative influence of tool rationality on college students,and from market economy,the social ideological trend,the moral education in colleges and universities,the individual level to analyze the causes of negative influence.The fourth part mainly aimed at the tool rationality to the negative effects brought by college students and bad results,points out that the healthy and standardizing market competition from the build environment,build the culture atmosphere of elimination of the influence of western thoughts bad,strengthening the educational function of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,improve their ability of resist the negative influence of instrument reason to deal with the negative influence of instrumental rationality.
