Public opinion plays a very important role in human society.In recent years,with the rapid development of the Internet in China,new media such as WeChat and Weibo have rapidly become indispensable tools for People's Daily information exchange,allowing many members of the public to participate in the discussion of public events.The characteristics of its suddenness,timeliness and rapidity make the network public opinion show the trend of rapid development.While realizing the freedom of expression and promoting social democratization,the public opinion also gives birth to adverse factors that endanger social stability.In the new era of socialist development,good social ideological support is needed.In order to achieve this goal,the management of public opinion is crucial.On the basis of referring to the foreign public opinion management mode and method,and drawing on the experience of China's traditional public opinion management,this paper studies the current public opinion management in China.The main idea is based on the current reality environment,starting from the basic theory of public opinion,according to the current new media environment to discuss the problems faced by the management of public opinion in China,and put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the management of public opinion from multiple perspectives.The research shows that the management of public opinion in the new era is facing a complex environment,the traditional idea of public opinion management needs to be changed,and the management mode needs to keep up with the development of The Times.We should constantly improve the technology of public opinion management,involve multiple subjects in public opinion management,innovate the way of public opinion management,improve the management efficiency,improve the relevant laws and regulations system of public opinion management under the new media environment,and build a harmonious social public opinion environment.
