Education is the activity of cultivating people.The essence of it is using a cultural method to influence people.A complete person is an organic unity of body,mind and knowledge.Therefore,the process of using a cultural method to influence people inherently contains the cultivation of students’ body,mind and knowledge.Not only the student’s thinking and morality reflect the results of school education,but the student’s body is also shaped by the education culture,which is expressed as the “cultural body”.This principle is of paramount importance for school education.However,in the practice of education,there is a phenomenon in which people are “split” into the body and consciousness,and the body is interpreted one-sidedly.The situation in which the body and the heart are separated from each other for a long time,and thus into the vision of educators is often the content of thinking,spirit,cognition and other rational aspects.The human body has not caused enough attention,which leads the body to disappear in educational practice.This study focuses on the body performance of students in school education practice,and looks back at the history of the body views to take care of the student’s body in the current education,reveals the “culture body” in school education from the perspective of Marxist “natural humanization” and examines the phenomenon of“disappearing the body” in educational practice through the field research on school education.It is found that school education narrows the body into the body only from the physiological point of view,and looks at the body dynamically generated in practice with a static and established concept.In the process of emphasizing moral education and intellectual education,educators ignore the education of the students’ body,causing the isolation between the students’ “body” and “heart”.For teachers and students,the impact of culture on the body the in school education has become the “invisible” state of “useless and not known”.This phenomenon is prominently manifested in the fact that in the process of educational practice,the body is “materialized” as a tool for carryingknowledge.In the school education,which emphasizes reason especially,it often causes the body to suffer and serve the intellectual education.In the school’s education system,the body is used as the object of “discipline”,the student’s hair style,dressing and daily behavior are carefully constrained.Through this strict control,the standardization and unification of students is achieved and which provides great convenience for the realization of utilitarianism educational purposes.In addition,because the cultural influence of sports and labor education on students’ bodies is obscured,the body’s original meaning is not highlighted,and sports are degraded into tools for intellectual education to provide health body to it.And the labor education is marginalized in school education.The intricacies of historical and practical reasons have led to the phenomenon of“disappearing the body” in school education practice.For these reasons,this study has been deeply considered.These reasons are as follows: First of all,the “two-dimensional opposition between body and mind” emphasized by Western traditional philosophy has led to the one-sided interpretation of the body in education.The dominance of the heart suppresses the manifestation of the body in education,and the student body is thus separated in school education.Secondly,the proliferation of instrumental rationalism leads to the obscuration of the body in education.Finally,the technicalization of daily teaching under the scientism tends to exclude the body from teaching.Based on the above investigation and reflection,this study attempts to propose the following measures to show the bogy in school education practice: Guide the school education practice with a whole body view and discover the meaning of physical education;Taking humanistic education to take care of daily teaching and achieve“people-oriented”;Using a cultural method to influence student’s body through sports and labor education,and promote the all-round development of students,so that the body can get the attention it deserves in the practice of school education.
