The author in the graduate professional internship,worked as an intern in an ordinary junior high school,according to reflect the school leaders and teachers,many students because of prolonged high light environment pressure,anxiety symptoms,it affects the learning state,there are some students fear make a fool of yourself,did not dare to express themselves,narrow social circle,a strong tendency of inferiority.M middle school in Wuhan city with the school social worker to design "green homes" grow horticultural therapy group a series of activities,aims to horticultural therapy alleviate the anxiety of junior middle school students,enhance the psychological quality,positive in the face of academic,social pressure,and encourage them to brave to express his inner world,seeking peer support,better adapt to the environment,the author had the opportunity to participate in this activity.This study is based on the activities of the "green home" horticultural therapy growth group.In the research process,the author comprehensively used the research methods including questionnaire survey,scale,structured interview and participatory observation,and carried out according to the five stages of the group activities,involving a total of six phases.Through the evaluation of the needs of service objects,the design of service scheme,the implementation of service scheme and the evaluation of group activities,this paper explores the influence of horticultural therapy on the anxiety of junior high school students,and introduces horticultural therapy into school social work to help junior high school students reduce stress and anxiety.At the same time,it can also accumulate materials,explore the application mode of horticultural therapy,promote the development of horticultural therapy,and contribute to the formation of horticultural therapy with Chinese characteristics,with certain exploratory and innovative.The conclusions of this study are as follows: firstly,the activity of "green home" gardening therapy growth group significantly reduced the anxiety level of the group members;Secondly,the communication ability of team members has been improved significantly after participating in the activity.Finally,the contents of horticultural therapy activities were novel and interesting,and the satisfaction of the members was high.Due to the limitations of subjective and objective conditions,there are still some deficiencies in this study: inadequate adaptability of activity design and objectives,difficulty in confirming the scientific nature of activity evaluation,and insufficient practical ability of social workers,etc.,which need to be further deepened.
