Since the 21 st century,the living standards of domestic citizens have continued to rise,and the demand for citizens to participate in sports has been expanding.Football has strong participation as one of the three major balls.In recent years,China's football population has become more and more,and the fans' foundation has become increasingly deep.The World Cup has attracted the attention of fans and is becoming more and more popular in China.a state of frenzy.The World Cup warm-up cycle is getting shorter and shorter.Once the World Cup starts,the audience will soon enter the state.On the circle of friends,Weibo,and news app,everyone sees the World Cup.As an important means of disseminating sports events,media reports how to attract audiences and how to guide viewers to love sports events plays an important role.As the Internet leader,Tencent.com's news discourse represents the understanding of the mainstream Internet media for the World Cup and the responsibility of increasing the sports population in China.Therefore,this paper selects the discourse of Tencent's 2018 Russia World Cup report as the research object,and adopts the research methods such as literature data method,text analysis method,expert interview method and observation method,and uses the theory of news discourse to analyze the discourse of Tencent's World Cup report.Characteristics,at the same time,by discussing the reporting strategy and communication effect of the Tencent World Cup,understanding the rules of online media coverage of the World Cup,and proposing more media responsibilities in the process of online media reporting,and increasing the attraction effect on the premise of disseminating high-quality sports content.Guide the audience to participate in sports and increase the feasibility of the sports population in China.The findings and conclusions indicate that:1)Tencent.com's 2018 Russia World Cup reports that different sections present different discourse features."The big men " and "Scouts " pay more attention to the athlete's theme and boundaries."Boundary" and "Cheap laugh" are mostly lace themes outside the competition,while "Jinba moment" focuses on the exciting moments of the competition.The contents of different sections cater to the reading characteristics of different audiences,covering a wide range of people.2)During the reporting period of tencent World Cup,I fully understood the user needs,grasped the characteristics of user groups,and developed the reporting strategies from five aspects.However,in the process of reporting,tencent ignored the information identification ability of the audience.Due to different social experience,the audience has different information identification ability.People with low information identification ability,such as children,will be misled by information beyond their contact ability,which will cause adverse effects.3)Tencent.com has made full use of its platform advantages,interactive communication,communication effect maximization.However,it is worth noting that tencent dominates the commercial elements of the reporting process,and the rigor and convenience of news content need to be further improved.Based on the existing problems,the author proposed a feasibility reform:1)From the perspective of report discourse,the communication effect and report quality should be balanced.Instead of simply grabbing people's attention,we should focus on the social and cultural context,update the news discourse and improve the quality of reporting.2)From the perspective of reporting strategies,Tencent.com should shoulder more social responsibilities.While meeting the needs of different groups,the spread of vulgar information should be avoided.3)From the perspective of communication effect,we should increase control over the comment area and guide the content of the comment area.
