With the rapid development of economy,the continuous optimization and adjustment of industrial structure and the further improvement of China's higher vocational education policies and regulations,China's higher vocational education has made rapid development.Gansu Iron and Steel Vocational Technical College as Jiu Gang group company run higher vocational education school,founded in 1978,in more than 30 years of development,Jiu Gang group has given strong support and help in the fields of capital and student employment.In recent years,steel overcapacity and sustained economic downturn,the benefit of Jiu Gang group is declining day by day and is influenced by the school's professional settings,teaching quality and social influence,Jiu Gang 's recruitment policy for school graduates is constantly changing and unstable,the quality of graduates' employment is poor,the school faces the problem of difficult enrollment.At the same time,affected by the reform of state-owned enterprises,it requires speeding up the stripping of state-owned enterprises from running public service agencies such as medical treatment and education.By then,the road to school survival and development will be more difficult.This article can be drawn from the above background,the basic theory of marketing strategy management as a research basis,combined with the research status of marketing management in the field of higher education,to combine theory with practice,this article mainly uses literature research method,investigation method and SWOT analysis as tools,according to the development status of Gansu Iron and Steel Vocational Technical College,a thorough analysis of the college's internal environment and the college's external environment,considering the current economic development situation of higher vocational education,from the perspective of market demand,industry competition and college's own ability to run a school,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages existing in the development of Gansu Iron and Steel Vocational Technical College,opportunities and threats,in-depth analysis and effective development of the college's marketing strategy.
