The integration of production and education plays an important role in the talents cultivation of higher engineering education.The development of engineering education has always been closely related to industrial development.Scientific and technological progress promotes industrial upgrading.The upgrading and transformation of industrial structure also provides direction for the reform of Engineering education.In 2017,the General Office of the State Council promulgated Several Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Industry and Education,and put forward that efforts should be made to construct the overall development pattern of education and industry.At the same time,the field of higher education is moving at the right time.Combining with the national development strategy,a new direction of engineering education reform-building New Engineering is put forward.One of the key points in the construction of New Engineering is to explore the reform and practice of multi-party collaborative education model.The aim is to strengthen the links between universities and society and promote the coordinated development of higher education and economy and society.At present,the research focus of the integration of industry and education in China is mainly on Vocational education,but there are few studies on the integration of industry and education in the field of general higher education.Therefore,this study attempts to focus on the development of integration of industry and education in the field of higher education from the perspective of research,and construct a new education model of integration of industry and education under the background of New Engineering.Through literature analysis,it is found that there are still many problems to be solved urgently in the development of the integration of industry and education in China.Such as the unclear level of educational objectives,imperfect professional settings and curriculum system,lack of targeted evaluation criteria and imperfect safeguard mechanism,etc.In order to improve the development quality of Industry-Education integration and promote the coordinated development of engineering education and industrial upgrading,this paper takes Marxist education theory and Dewey's pragmatism education theory as the theoretical basis,adopts text analysis method,case study method and historical research method,and systematically studies the construction path of Industry-Education integration education mode under the background of New Engineering.This paper is mainly divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction.First,it clarifies the purpose and significance of the research,and summarizes the current situation of the integration of industry and education at home and abroad.Then it combs and explains the concept of New Engineering and integration of industry and education,and defines the core concept of education mode.The second part analyses the historical context,achievements and challenges of the integration of industry and education in the field of Engineering Education in China.The third part focuses on Xidian University,specifically analyzing the practical measures,effects,problems and shortcomings in the development of production-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation,and analyzing the reasons.In the fourth part,on the basis of recognizing the shortcomings of the problems,the author focuses on the overseas engineering education powers,such as Germany,the United States and Japan,to analyze the mode and practice of the integration of industry and education,to conduct a horizontal study,and to summarize the relevant experience.In the fifth part,according to the requirements of the New Engineering and the current situation of our country,the author proposes to build a mode of integration of industry and education in accordance with the reality of China from the aspects of educational objectives,training contents,standards and system construction and the use of the peripheral environment.The sixth part is a summary.Through this study,we hope to provide some references for the construction of New Engineering and the research of the mode of integration of industry and education.In addition,some viewpoints in this study are not mature enough and need further in-depth demonstration.
