In China's higher education system,as an important part of high-level talent training,the enrollment scale of doctoral students is increasingly growing,which has become an important group who have effects on the overall quality of higher education in China.Among them,the cultivation mode of direct master-doctoral has gradually become an important part of the cultivation mode of doctoral.Due to the characteristics of long-term and no cultivation of academic ability in master's degree stage,the group of direct master-doctoral postgraduate are facing special academic pressure,which has become an urgent problem to be solved in our society.In the initial stage of this study,we interview some direct master-doctoral postgraduates of different majors in five universities of Beijing to explore the source of academic pressure,the current situation of academic pressure and the current mechanism of mental health education.On the basis of the previous interviews,the author uses the case method to provide individual service for the postgraduates who are under too much academic pressure.In accordance with the general process model of social work practice,it helps the postgraduates to make cognitive adjustment and to construct social support network,in order to help them plan their learning life properly and cope with the current academic pressure better by means of resource links.On this basis,this study attempts to find strategies to improve the academic stress of direct master-doctoral postgraduates,and enrich the research fruits on issues related to academic stress of direct master-doctoral postgraduates,helps doctoral students attract more attention from universities and society to their mental health,clarifies the role of social workers in the mechanism of mental health education in universities,and puts forward pertinent suggestions for the mechanism of mental health education in universities.
