The disability sports has been gradually aroused world-wide concern, however it is still not as important as able-bodied sports. As for the able-bodied swimming athletes, the psychological intervention and psychological counseling are still deficient, while the relevant help and instruction for disabled swimming athletes are even less. Therefore swimming for people with disabilities is in urgent need of theoretical guidance. This study select eddisabled swimmers as research subjects, which can provide reference for coaches and athletes' psychological counseling and develop the Para lympic Games,at the same time,it will enrich the psychological theories for disabled athletes, especially for the swimming field, which is of great significance to the promotion and research of disability sports. This article will discuss whether the psychological intervention of “emotioncognition-behavior” will cause obvious differences in athletes' state of mind, esteem and confidence and if it will improve the performance of disabled athletes. This research selected four disabled swimming athletes from XXX Province as experimental subjects to evaluate the psychological changes after psychological intervention and tracking tests. The single-case research design with multiple baseline levels of ABABA,psychological intervention of “emotion-cognition-behavior”,Profile of Mood States(POMS),Sports Confidence States(SC-State),PSPP and Athletic Performance State have been adopted in this research. The result shows that above indicators have surely improved in the tracking tests.A week the intervention ended, the social validity test shows that all coaches and four athletes are satisfied with the intervention, and the athletes all performed well in the matches, which indicates that the psychological intervention of “emotion-cognition-behavior” is effective for improving the performance of disabled swimming athletes.
