The new round of basic education curriculum reform advocates that students actively participate in learning activities. The "Standards of History Courses in Ordinary High Schools" also requires full participation of students. The current high school history textbooks also reflect the purpose of "student-oriented".Therefore,the implementation of Participatory Teaching in high school history teaching conforms to the educational concept of today's society. In recent years, high school history elective courses are facing the embarrassing situation of more curriculum content and less class hours, which leads to great pressure on teachers to prepare lessons and insufficient interest of students in learning. The purpose of this study is to implement participatory teaching method in senior high school history teaching, design rich participatory teaching activities, adopt action research mode, and explore how to effectively implement participatory teaching method in senior high school history elective classroom teaching. This paper mainly adopts the action research mode, and the action process of implementing participatory teaching mainly includes two parts: the first part is the research plan, which mainly consists of four parts: problem discovery and determination, research object, research content and research planning. The author determines the problem of this action research as follows: how to implement participatory teaching reasonably and effectively in the history elective course of senior high school Learn. The second part is the process of implementing two rounds of action research, which mainly consists of five parts: plan(problems to be solved),action(participatory classroom teaching record),observation(interviews between teachers and members of students' evaluation group),reflection and improvement plan. The action research found that the introduction of participatory teaching method into history classroom teaching in senior high school is conducive to the change of students' learning methods,so that students can master some basic ways of learning history and improve their historical thinking ability when they participate in classroom activities. It is helpful to improve students' participation in historyclassroom teaching, embody students' subjectivity status, and give students the opportunity to participate in history classroom in an all-round way.It will help to change the traditional performance-centered evaluation system. The role of teachers in classroom teaching has changed. In participatory teaching, the roles of teachers and students can be flexibly exchanged.Two-way communication makes the role of teachers change in classroom teaching.Teachers change from "imparters" to "guiders" and "learners".This is also conducive to the harmonious relationship between teachers and students.Teachers can improve their professional accomplishment through continuous participation, such as enriching their professional knowledge, improving their professional ability and renewing their teaching ideas and strategies. In view of the implementation process of participatory teaching, the author summarizes the suggestions for implementing participatory teaching: let students improve their own historical knowledge system in participation;tailor-made participatory teaching method suitable for classroom;prevent the phenomenon of generalization of participatory teaching method;fully understand the learning situation before implementing participatory teaching;pay attention to improving learning in the design of pre-class Preview activities.Students' participation;the implementation of participatory teaching can not ignore the teaching method;the participatory teaching method should be extended to classroom reflection.
