Media Image Analysis Of Social Workers Under The Framework Construction

With the development of social work in China,there is still a lack of public awareness and low recognition.Media is an important and necessary way for the public to know social workers.However,news report is usually a process of constructing reality.It uses a certain language system to narrate and reproduce a recent fact,including the selection,coding and presentation of event information by journalists in the form of symbols.The media image of social workers constructed by news reports is often different from the real image of social workers,but it can have a significant impact on the development and operation of social workers.This paper selects the reports on social workers from the local official media"Shenzhen Special Zone Daily" in the 12 years from 2007 to 2018.Taking the frame theory as the perspective and starting from the two perspectives of content analysis and discourse analysis,this paper studies the specific issues such as the layout,length,field,modifiers,quotations and keywords of the reports.Through qualitative research and comprehensive methods such as coding statistics,to kown what kind of social workers' media images this paper shows,how to construct and express them,and summarizes the reasons,in an attempt to find reference basis and improvement direction for social workers' self-promotion and future development.The main content of this article has the following several parts:the first chapter introduction introduces the research background and significance,literature review and the theory of this paper the basic theory and application.The second chapter is the research design,mainly expounds the research question,sample,research methods and the building standard of the category of the sample analysis.The third chapter according to categories for social work medium image content analysis.The fourth chapter according to categories is to discourse analysis of media image of social workers.The last chapter of the fifth chapter is this article research conclusion and limitations.
