Cultivating college students' Global Competence is the key to ensure the sustainable development of higher education in China.It is also the consideration of teaching quality in Colleges and Universities under the background of Globalization3.0.It is also the demand of talent development strategy under the international competitive environment.At present,China's higher education focuses on the input of basic knowledge and skills,ignoring the vital role of quality education in an increasingly closely linked and rapidly changing world.In 2018,OECD first developed global competency as an testing framework,which is supported by three internal mechanisms: knowledge and skills,attitude and teaching.Based on a comprehensive interpretation of PISA's global competency assessment framework,and using the translation version of PISA 2018 Global Competency Panel Questionnaire,this paper conducts an empirical analysis of 320 C University Student's global competency data,and draws the following conclusions:First,there is still much room for improvement in the overall level of global competence of C University students.Secondly,the students of C University scored higher in knowledge and skills and attitudes,but lower in teaching,indicating the imbalance between their own global competence level and their higher international teaching demands.Thirdly,there is a significant linear correlation between the global competency level of C university students and the variables of "high school type" and "family economic level".The three dimensions of global competency of C university students have significant explanatory power for the change of "student's academic performance" respectively.Based on the above analysis,this paper puts forward the ways to enhance global competence from the individual level of students,the school level and other stakeholders,including shaping the core qualities of students in personal,interpersonal and cognitive aspects,promoting global competence,breaking the barriers of international education,increasing the smooth communication between teachers and students,and realizing smooth communication between schools.The joint training of college students by enterprises and society will form a new pattern of global competent personnel training.
