Ethnic education is of great strategic significance in the higher education system of our country.Its national characteristics make colleges and universities for ethnic groups conscientiously implement the important strategic decision-making plan of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council,and carry out the relevant policies of the national minorities.It plays an important role in the education of national unity,the cultivation of talents in ethnic areas,the protection and inheritance of national culture,the promotion of social and economic development in ethnic areas,the maintenance of social harmony and stability in our country,and the realization of common development of national families.Because of the particularity of the object of training and the object of management in the colleges for nationalities,it puts forward the different requirements for the management mode,the form of the education and the mode of the training of the students in the colleges for nationalities.Counselors in ethnic colleges and universities are the frontline subjects of direct education,management,supervision and training of ethnic minority students,and counselors in ethnic colleges and universities are in education and management.Supervising and cultivating the vocational ability of minority students will directly affect the efficiency and effect of their work.At present,the situation of ideological work in our country is rather severe,in addition to the rapid development of information technology and the aggravation of the infiltration speed of ideology abroad,these are responsible for the education and management of students in ethnic colleges and universities.The counselors who supervise and train the work put forward higher requirements.Therefore,counselors in ethnic colleges and universities need to grasp the purpose of running schools of ethnic minorities in the new situation and under the background of the times,and thoroughly analyze the characteristics and characteristics of current minority students.Put competence construction and training in service,manage the work of minority students in the first place,constantly improve their competence,promote the education,management,supervision and training of ethnic minority students in ethnic colleges and universities to a new level.The first part of this study briefly focuses on the starting point of the topic,from the issues raised,research significance,research content,ideas and methods as well as research innovation and other aspects to explain;The second part is the literature review part,mainly from the domestic and foreign competency model and counselor competency model research literature review;the third part is the particularity of the work of counselors in ethnic colleges and universities;The fourth part is through the questionnaire survey,statistical analysis,exploratory factor analysis and other methods to build the competency model of counselors in ethnic colleges and universities,and use the analytic hierarchy process to test the validity of the model.The fifth part is the method of utilization table to be competent for the counselors in ethnic colleges and universities.The sixth part is to link the model with the work of counselors,career,recruitment,evaluation and so on,so as to guide the construction and development of counselors in ethnic colleges and universities.The last part is to describe the deficiency of the existing research and the direction that this research can discuss in the future.The innovation of this study is to put forward the competency model of counselors in ethnic universities and construct the evaluation system of counselors' competency in ethnic universities.The results of this study can be used to guide the recruitment,training,career management,incentive and punishment of counselors in minority colleges and universities,so as to ensure the steady and effective promotion of counselors' student management in minority colleges and universities.To promote the management of students in ethnic colleges and universities to achieve results.
