Literacy teaching is a major and difficult part in primary school Chinese teaching,and occupies an important position in C hinese teaching in primary schools.Chinese literacy teaching in primary schools in the Republic of C hina is the transitional period and turning point of Initiative Education of Ancient C hina and modern C hinese education.As one of the important modern periodicals,the Education Magazine is not only a propagator of various advanced educational theories and ideological trends in the West,but also a witness of the development of primary school Chinese teaching in the Republic of China.This essay aims to explore the development of C hinese literacy teaching in primary schools of the Republic of China via the study of the Education Magazine.It is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction summarizes the reasons for this paper,literature review,purposes and methods for research,innovation,focus and difficult points.The text is divided into four chapters.In the first chapter,the development of Chinese curriculum in primary schools and the development of literacy teaching in primary schools in the Republic of C hina are summarized.In this chapter,taking the May 4th Movement as the dividing point,the important events of politics and education in the Republic of China and the impact on primary school C hinese literacy teaching are summarized from the perspective of historiography.Chapter Two expounds the evolution of literacy form in C hinese textbooks.Firstly,the evolution of literacy tools,and the development of phonetic alphabets;secondly,the transformation of literacy carriers,and the development of genres from classical C hinese to stylistic writing.Both the evolution of literacy tools and the transformation of literacy carriers promote the primary school language literacy in the Republic of China greatly.In the third chapter,the changes of the content of primary school C hinese literacy teaching are presented from the national curriculum,and the teaching methods of the pronunciation,grapheme,meaning are discussed.The order of literacy teaching is also discussed through the presentation of teaching plans.The fourth chapter,the enlightenment to today's primary school literacy teaching is mainly gained from the primary school literacy teaching of the Republic of C hina.The teaching of new words should conform to the characters of Chinese characters and the psychological characteristics of students.Literacy teaching should break through the difficulties of pronunciation and character learning.Literacy teaching methods and order should vary from text to text.Literacy teaching focus on the accumulation and autonomy of students' literacy.The conclusion is to summarize the literacy teaching in primary schools in the Republic of China.
