With the rapid development of globalization, economic activities between countries are becoming more frequent, investment and international trade are intensive, and the friction between the two countries due to various formal and informal barriers is increasing. The social network is connected by population, blood and conceptual beliefs, verifying the closeness of the relationship between countries. In recent years, the research between social networks and trade between the two countries has also deepened.International trade is far more complicated than domestic trade. There are not only trade barriers such as taxes, but also informal barriers due to different language customs.Social networks can adopt internal trust-building mechanisms and disciplinary measures against opportunistic behaviors. It can also provide information about thehost country market to reduce the cost of information and thus make trade between the two countries more convenient. This paper studies the influence of social networks on China's trade import and export from the perspective of immigration, and adds cultural differences to test the mediating effect.First,it sorts out the current status of China's overseas immigration network, and verifies the major OECD countries and China through the Hofstede cultural dimension. The existence of cultural differences has combed the development of trade and import and trade structure between China and OECD countries.Based on the immigration network to reduce informal barriers by establishing a trust mechanism and disseminating market information;the immigration network validates the immigration network's promotion of bilateral trade through the theory of cost overcoming effects, preference effects and demonstration promotion effects to narrow cultural differences and reduce transaction costs,to verify the role of immigration networks in promoting bilateral trade.Based on the extended gravity model, this paper selects the immigration and import and export trade data of China and 28 OECD countries from 2002 to 2016,and uses the panel fixed effect model to regress, respectively, from the impact of the immigration network on the overall trade import and export, for sitc3 The impact of different tradable goods under the classification,as well as the test of the mediating effectof cultural differences, was used for empirical analysis, and the dynamic panel model was used to reduce endogeneity.Through theoretical and empirical analysis, the following conclusions are drawn: 1.The immigration network has significantly promoted trade between China and the host country, and the impact on imports is greater than the impact on exports;2.The impact of immigration networks on different import and export trade products is different. In imports, the impact on primary products is the greatest, while in exports, the impact on capital-intensive goods is most prominent;3 the existence of cultural differences will hinder trade between the two countries, and the migration network can reduce the Cultural differences reduce transaction costs, thereby promoting trade between China and the host country, and verifying the mediating effects of cultural differences. It also proposed that the role of the immigration network should be played well, and the Chinese associations should be encouraged to carry out activities to strengthen internal communication and enhance interoperability with other cultures. It is also necessary to improve China's trade structure and promote balanced and efficient development of China's trade.
