Abstract/Summary:
College students growing up in the information society have produced a variety of positive behaviors(such as Internet prosocial behavior)and negative behaviors(such as Internet deviant behavior,Internet addiction, etc.)in the process of using the Internet.Previous researchers mostly started with internet deviant behavior, deeply explored the factors affecting college students’ Internet deviant behavior from the aspects of parent-child relationship,teacher-student relationship and peer relationship, excavated the psychological mechanism behind internet addiction, and then sought the appropriate intervention method of school and family education on Internet negative behavior. But in the normalization of COVID-19 today,Internet prosocial behavior(such as network charitable help, sharing realtime information on epidemic)has become an effective way to convey love to share goodwill. Therefore,we explore the College Students’ Internet prosocial behavior, and conduct guidance and education on how to conduct college students’ Internet behavior in the future, and shape the healthy and healthy personality of college students. It is of positive significance to create a clean and positive cyberspace. There are relatively few studies on the relationship between cultural self-confidence and college students’ online prosocial behavior in China. As an ideal personality in Chinese culture, gentleman personality has been proved to have a significant impact on prosocial behavior, but its relationship with online prosocial behavior is not clear. As an important psychological function,a large number of studies have shown that self-control has a significant impact on individual behavior, and studies have confirmed that self-control is an important part of "self denial and return to propriety" advocated by Confucianism in gentleman personality. This study explores how college students’ cultural self-confidence formed by their identification and belief in Chinese excellent culture and how it affects college students’ online prosocial behavior.By combing the relevant literature, this study speculates that cultural self-confidence plays a role in online prosocial behavior through gentleman personality, takes self-control as an individual’s control belief, and plays a regulatory role in the path of cultural self-confidence and online prosocial behavior, and constructs a regulatory intermediary model with gentleman personality as the intermediary and self-control as the regulation.Using the questionnaire survey method as a whole,818 valid questionnaires were obtained from college students in some colleges and universities in Sichuan. After research and analysis, the following conclusions were drawn:1)College Students’ cultural self-confidence positively predicts network prosocial behavior.2)Gentleman personality plays a partial intermediary role between College Students’ cultural self-confidence and network prosocial behavior.3)Self control plays a regulatory role before college students’ cultural self-confidence and network prosocial behavior.4)Self control plays a regulatory role between College Students’ gentleman personality and network prosocial behavior4)Self-control plays a regulatory role between gentleman personality and network prosocial behavior.
