Since we entered the Twenty-first century,due to the increasing outward direct investment,China's outward direct investment has developed at an extremely fast pace and its growth has been stable.In 2017,China's outward direct investment flows and stocks ranked third and second respectively in the world.Invest in the ranks of major powers.At the same time,the employment situation in the Chinese labor market is still serious,the contradiction between work force supply and work force demand has not been radically improved,and the structural contradictions in employment have intensified.The previous improvement in China's employment problem was mainly driven by the development of the domestic economy to promote the improvement of China's employment level.However,it is nothing like enough to depend simply on the development of the domestic economy.It should also rely on the foreign economy to find new ways to improve China's employment problems.way.Foreign direct investment is an important way for China to develop its foreign economy.Therefore,whether outward direct investment can help improve China's domestic employment is the main content of this paper.This paper summarizes the existent researching files of academics at home and abroad,and finds that most of the previous researches have examined the impact of foreign direct investment on home country employment from the perspective of employment scale and employment structure,but lacked the quality of foreign direct investment to home country employment.The impact of the system and the size of the research.Therefore,this paper first introduces the theory of the interrelation between outward direct investment and job opportunities,and separately expounds the transmission mechanism of foreign direct investment on employment scale,employment structure and employment quality.Then it gives a detailed account of the current situation of China's outward direct investment and the current development of employment in China,and speculates that China's outward direct investment can promote China's employment level according to the trend graphs of the two.Then,using the provincial panel data to study the impact of China's outward direct investment on China's employment,through the establishment of a mediation effect model to analyze the influence of China's outward direct investment on employment scale and employment quality,and from the perspective of three industries to study China's external The impact of direct investment on the employment structure of China.Finally,an overview of the research content of this paper is made,and put forward relevant policy suggestions.The main conclusions of this paper are: China's outward direct investment can promote China's employment growth,and export and domestic investment play a part in the intermediary role;China's outward direct investment can promote employment in China's primary industry The transfer of the secondary industry and the tertiary industry,and the transfer to the tertiary industry is the most important;China's outward direct investment is favourable to improving the quality of employment in China,and technological progress and industrial structure act on mediating in the relationship.The The innovation of this thesis lies in some aspects,the research content and the method of study.The content innovation lies in the detailed analysis of the transmission mechanism of outward direct investment on the quality of employment in China,and empirical analysis of the quality of China's outward direct investment to China's domestic employment.Impact: In the research method,from the perspective of the impact path,the mediation effect model is helpful to analyze the path of China's outward direct investment on employment scale and employment quality,thus supply some relevant policy recommendations.
