Students' academic achievement and its influencing factors are the theoretical and practical issues that are currently focused on educational research.Under the current education system, academic achievement is an important indicator to verify whether a student is eligible for better education resources, and is also a key embodiment of the quality of school teaching. Therefore, the discussion of the factors that lead to the differences in students' academic performance still has very important practical significance.Based on the external environment,we can positively guide individual factors. This paper analyzes the influencing factors of academic achievement from the individual level of students. This study selects 2019 junior high school graduates from the main urban area of Chongqing as the research object.According to the research ideas of asking questions, analyzing problems and solving problems, comprehensive consideration of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, using correlation analysis, linear regression analysis, principal component analysis and The method of multiple linear regression analysis looks for the main factors that lead to differences in academic performance at the individual level and the influence of each factor. Then make reasonable suggestions for school education and family education.Through empirical analysis, the conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)According to the correlation analysis, there is a significant linear relationship between the six factors at the individual level and academic performance;Unitary linear regression analysis shows that the correlation between each factor and academic performance explains the overall decline in academic performance from the following proportions: self-efficacy,psychological quality, learning attitude and teacher-student relationship.(2)Principal component analysis shows that the first principal component contains 50.175% of the difference in individual level factors, which is mainly a comprehensive reflection of the four indicators of psychological quality,teacher-student relationship, learning attitude and self-efficacy.Therefore,psychological quality,teacher-student relationship, and learning The four factors of attitude and self-efficacy are the main indicators reflecting the individual differences of students, which is consistent with the conclusion of the one-way regression analysis.(3)Multiple linear regression analysis of the impact of multiple factors on students' academic performance. It is found that when psychological quality, learning attitude,self-efficacy and physical quality work together on academic performance,66.7% of the total variation in academic performance can be explained, which is significantly higher than the explanation ratio of individual variable to the dependent variable.(4)Factors selected from the individual level in this paper are all subjective variables, which are easier to be changed by changes in family education and school education. Therefore,it is completely feasible for families and schools to improve students' academic performance by taking appropriate measures to improve scores of all factors.
