Composition is an important way of communicating with the outside world or expressing oneself through the medium of words.Excellent writing ability is a necessary quality for an individual to cope with the fierce competition in today's society.Therefore,composition teaching has always occupied a "half wall" in the field of language teaching.Whether in primary or middle schools,the Chinese curriculum standards have clear requirements for composition ability.This is not only for the overall quality development of students,but also to meet the needs of the state and Society for the cultivation of talents.But the drawbacks of composition teaching have been accumulated for a long time.Composition teaching in junior middle school is an important and difficult stage in compulsory education stage.First,it is much more difficult than that in primary school.Second,composition learning in this stage needs to lay a solid foundation for composition in senior high school.However,junior middle school teaching faces many difficulties.The junior middle school composition teaching in urban-rural junior middle school is due to the environment,resources,teachers,student's particularity and so on.The influence of factors makes the problem more prominent.This paper takes Liupanshui No.20 Middle School as an example to study the plight of composition teaching in junior middle schools in the urban-rural fringe,and what strategies should be adopted to solve these problems so as to effectively improve the teaching effect of composition teaching in junior middle schools in the urban-rural fringe.Liupanshui No.20 Middle School is chosen first because it is located in Guizhou Province,where the national education level is relatively backward.This school is located at the edge of the urban area,surrounded by numerous villages,a distance from the urban area.It is a typical transitional rural and urban-rural junction area.Secondly,it is also the school that I have taught for many years.During the teaching process,I encountered too many works.Through the investigation and study of this school,we hope that we can find out what problems exist in the composition teaching of junior middle schools in the urban-rural fringe and what causes these problems,and put forward some strategies and suggestions to solve these problems,so as to solve the problems in the composition teaching of junior middle schools in Liupanshui No.20 Middle School and even in the urban-rural fringe.Get out of the predicament,improve student's writing level and teachers' writing teaching ability.This topic will be discussed from the following parts:The first part is the introduction.Firstly,it will introduce the research background of composition teaching in junior middle schools in urban-rural fringe,and the research purpose and significance of this topic,and discuss the characteristics of composition teaching in junior middle schools in urban-rural fringe.Domestic and foreign experts have done some discussion and Research on this topic respectively.Finally,the research methods of this paper are introduced.The second part is based on Liupanshui No.20 Middle School in the urban-rural fringe area where the author teaches as an example,in which a survey is conducted on the main difficulties in junior middle school composition teaching.This chapter will be divided into three main aspects to discuss: first,the survey results,this survey around Liupanshui No.20 Middle School student's composition status and teachers' composition teaching status,collect relevant data,the purpose is to be able to understand and master the specific situation of composition teaching in Liupanshui No.20 Middle School in many ways and comprehensively.Secondly,according to the data from the survey,it is found that there are some problems in teacher's teaching behavior and teaching concept in the process of composition teaching in No.20 Middle School of Liupanshui City: firstly,teachers lack the consciousness of professional promotion;secondly,teachers do not provide effective guidance for composition teaching;thirdly,teachers' attitude towards composition teaching is biased;fourthly,teacher's comments on composition are too formal.Finally,the outstanding problems of student's composition in No.20 Middle School of Liupanshui City are as follows: firstly,students lack interest in composition,do not know the importance of composition and even hate composition;secondly,students do not develop good reading habits,resulting in a low amount of extracurricular reading;thirdly,they do not seriously observe life and accumulate authentic composition materials;fourthly,they do not attach importance to the later revision of composition.This chapter finds out the problems from the survey data,and provides data support for the analysis of the reasons in the next chapter.The third part is the analysis of the causes of the predicament.This paper makes a detailed analysis of the difficulties encountered by teachers and students in composition teaching,and finds that the problems mainly include social,family,teaching,students themselves and other factors.The fourth part is aimed at the various problems found in the survey,combined with the analysis of their causes,put forward some strategies and suggestions which can effectively improve the operability and practical application value of junior middle school composition teaching in urban-rural fringe area,in order to improve junior middle school student's composition ability and teachers' teaching ability in urban-rural fringe area.These strategies are mainly divided into teaching and teacher' self-development.Firstly,the teaching strategies and suggestions are as follows: first,arouse students' interest in writing and cultivate it,eliminate student's fear of writing and enhance their self-confidence in writing;second,teach students to observe life with appropriate skills and develop the habit of observation;third,use reading teaching to improve the teaching effect of writing so as to enable students to Find the inspiration and thinking of composition in reading;Fourthly,teachers should strengthen the guidance of writing methods in the process of writing;Fifthly,improve the way of composition comment so as to make the process of comment dynamic and enriched,and teachers and students interact and communicate in the process of comment.On the other hand,teacher's own professional development strategies are as follows: first,pay attention to the improvement of their own language literacy,keep on learning;second,update their teaching concepts in time,establish correct and scientific teaching concepts of composition,and learn effective teaching skills of composition.Third,the love of students will be shown in teaching behavior to promote teaching with love;fourth,actively communicate with student's families,and jointly promote the improvement of students' writing ability.These strategies are put forward according to the characteristics of composition teaching in urban-rural fringe,in order to provide ideas for composition teaching in junior middle schools in urban-rural fringe,and to improve the effectiveness of composition teaching in junior middle schools in urban-rural fringe.
