Third-party punishment is the process by which a third party,as a bystander, watches a violation of social norms and is willing to pay the price to punish such behavior. This article sets up three experiments to explore the impact of success rates and social hierarchy on third-party penalties.Experiment 1 explores the impact of success and penalty costs on punishment decisions.Adopt 6(distribution plan: 5 yuan / 5 yuan,6 yuan / 4 yuan,7 yuan / 3 yuan,8 yuan / 2 yuan,9 yuan / 1 yuan,10 yuan / 0 yuan)× 3(intervention success rate: low, medium, high)× 2(penalty cost: low, high)the design of the subject.A total of 55 participants participated in the study. The experimental results show that the allocation scheme and the probability of success affect the decision-making behavior of thirdparty punishment. The more unfair the distribution plan, the higher the degree of punishment of the third party individual to the distributor;the higher the probability of success, the higher the degree of punishment of the third party individual to the distributor;the more fair the distribution scheme, the more the third party responds to the assignor's punishment The sooner.Experiment 2 explores the impact of social hierarchy on punishment decisions.Use 3(distribution plan: 5 yuan / 5 yuan,7 yuan / 3 yuan,9 yuan / 1 yuan)× 3(distributor level: low, medium, high)× 3(recipient level: low, medium, high)The design of the subject.A total of 58 participants participated in the study. The experimental results show that the allocation scheme and the recipient level influence the decision-making behavior of the third-party punishment. The more unfair the distribution plan, the higher the degree of punishment of the third party individual to the distributor;the higher the recipient level, the higher the degree of punishment of the third party individual to the distributor;the more fair the distribution scheme, the third party's reaction to the assignor's punishment The faster.Experiment 3 explores the impact of the recipient's social hierarchy on third-party penalties through event-related potential(ERP)techniques. The design of the subjects using 3(distribution plan: 5 yuan / 5 yuan,7 yuan / 3 yuan,9 yuan / 1 yuan)× 3(recipient level: low, medium, high).A total of 27 participants participated in the study. The behavioral results indicate that the allocation scheme and the recipient level influence the decision-making behavior of the third-party penalty. The more unfair the distribution plan, the higher the degree of punishment of the third party individual to the distributor;the higher the recipient level, the higher the degree of punishment of the third party individual to the distributor;the more fair the distribution scheme, the third party's reaction to the assignor's punishment The faster. The results of EEG show that the allocation scheme and the receiver level affect the MFN amplitude of the third-party penalty. The more unfair the distribution scheme, the greater the negative trend of the MFN when the third party sees the distribution plan and social level;the higher the recipient level The third party's average volatility of the MFN when seeing the distribution plan and social rating is greater.
