High School Math Novice-Skilled-Expert Teacher Comparative Study Of Learning Method Guidance

At the turn of the century,the curriculum reform of basic education in China emphasized “taking students as the center”.However,students' learning is inseparable from the guidance of teachers.How do teachers guide students in learning methods in the current math class? What are the samilarities and differences between teachers at different stages of development?This study by comparing the novice-skilled-expert-type teacher's learning method guidance to understand the similarities and differences between different types of teachers' teaching methods from the teacher's point of view,discuss the better teaching methods of mathematics and make some suggestions for the personal growth of different teachers in order to understand these problems.This study adopts the case study method.Firstly,the author has compiled relevant theories of mathematical learning methods and learning method guidance,determined the research content by consulting the literature.Secondly,the author chose a representative novice teacher,a skilled teacher,and an expert teacher as an observation object.The author collected the teaching guidance materials of the three teachers in mathematics learning(pre-study,lectures,homework,exams)and mathematics(mathematical concepts,mathematical propositions,mathematical problem solving)through the lectures,observations and after-school communication.The author interviewed the teachers and conducted questionnaire surveys on the students to collect data in order to verify the guiding effect.Then,the author conducted a comparative analysis of the collected data.The author got the following conclusions:(1)The expert teacher guides the student to prepare for class and find the learning goas and the difficulties in the pre-study session.(2)The expert teacher guides the students to the board,and give students time to discuss difficult questions in the classroom.(3)The expert teacher guides the students to grasp the basic and medium topics,and does not greedy the topics after class.(4)The guidance of the three teachers(the order of the questions,the time,the format)is similar in the examination section.(5)Skilled teacher and expert teacher guide students to understand in the study of mathematical concepts,propositions,and problem-solving.(6)The expert teacher and theskilled teacher are better than the novice teacher in learning guidance effect.The author draws the following teaching reflections on the guidance of learning method guidance:(1)Teachers guide students to self-prepare in class,and find learning goals and difficulties.(2)Teachers should give students time to discuss after the difficult problems are taught.(3)Teachers should give students the opportunity to showcase in class and correct exposed problems.(4)Teachers should carefully select and arrange homework reasonably and appropriately,not too much or difficult.(5)Teachers should give students the opportunity to modify the wrong questions and give feedback to the students in a timely manner.(6)The study of mathematical concepts,mathematical propositions,and mathematical problem solving is important in understanding.
